For those who record the Football League Show on Channel 5 . It's changed from tonight .
It still starts at 21.00 hrs but will only show highlights of the Championship , then another programme called Goal Rush starts at 22.00 hrs (with a 30 minute duration) shows just the goals from League 1 & 2 .

The show which has never challenged the BBC for enjoyment and quality, has gone down another level unfortunately. I suggest you invest in Player, if you wish to see a half decent Brewers match highlights.

I just watch the Sky highlights from all league one games. Don't think the Channel 5 people know where Burton is, and who is Stuart Beevon ? have we signed a new player ? The presenters football knowledge is woeful. They don't have guests on either from North of Watford ! I stopped watching sometime ago.

The goals are readily available from about 7pm for free on Sky Sports website.

Have just watched a 12 minute highlights video of the game on Player. It shows pretty well all main highlights of the game. Looking at it I thought Beavon had a good call for a penalty turned down in the first half.

I think the player may well be a good option. Not bothered about the interviews and the like, but a good segment of the highlights may be worth the money compared to watching 11 seconds on Ch 5 (allegedly), the 1.10 on Sky and the 2.15 on youTube

I didn't realise that Brewers Player has extended match highlights. Just signed-up to it as a result and it really is excellent to have 12 minutes of the match to watch. Maybe we will get the whole game one day, or is that a rights issue?

Another thing about Player is that you can visit all the other clubs who use Player. For instance you can watch the full "lowlights" of the Rams v Birmingham if you wish. Go on to their site, and log in as you do for the Brewers.
