How do you view yourself as a Brewers supporter and how do you think supporters of other clubs view you. Both clubs at our level and those of clubs in the top 2 divisions, including the local armchair Premier league fans ?

I view myself as a proud supporter of our club. I am not a singer or a shouter of idiotic chants towards any opponents, but I do enjoy the atmosphere which the choir can generate. I am far too mature for some of the juvenile stuff we hear though. Regarding how I think opponent fans view me and our fans. I think they begrudgingly tolerate us as a small club who "don't belong in the league", and I love it.

I feel very proud of Albion and all that has been achieved. This morning I took my 2 little grandsons aged 2 and 5 down to the ground to be photographed with the championship trophy, which was such a pleasure. The ground is something we can all be proud of, along with all of the merchandise in the club shop. The little boys live in Nottingham but it was a proud moment when the bigger one said 'Grandad the Brewers are my no 1 team now, I'm not bothered about Forest any longer'.

I'm Albion through and through and take pride that I support my home town club, a club which in my opinion is run in the right way and is an example to all the others. I find it amusing that the so called big clubs find it hard to take that they are playing in the same league as us. The reason they are is due to bad decisions and financial management on there part. I find it sad that people travel to Derby to watch another team and even sadder that people armchair support big Premier league clubs but never go to watch them live. To put things into perspective, when I 1st started watching the club we were in the Southern League, Nuneaton Borough, Kettering Town, Worcester City and many others plus Stafford Rangers, Macclesfield, Boston United and others in the Northern Premier league were all bigger clubs than ourselves but under the chairmanship of Ben Robinson we have made steady sustainable progress and left those clubs behind. Others have come Rushden & Diamonds, Crawley, Stevenage etc but they havn't managed to maintain their progress, mainly due to the money running out. Wigan too in a similar way and we will be playing them again on a level playing field this season. Wimbledon and Milton Keynes is another story all together mind ! Although I have digressed a little what I'm trying to get over is that in my time the club have made amazing progress which in the way it has been achieved is probably unique in the modern game. To those who mocked me in the past I am now getting respect as a long term supporter of Burton Albion FC.
