No, Northampton will not sell all their tickets ! They have been allocated 1,300 terrace and 72 seats. We won't sell all ours either !

Seats will sell out as they only had block seven left for this match last wednesday night and hence why they've only got 72 seats for Northampton.
If it was last match of season I think we would get a better crowd.
This match is a bit of an in between kind of match now IMO

I saw that Ben was hoping for around 5000. I hope that is achieved, but we'll have to wait and see. Northampton should bring a decent few hundred I hope.

I would imagine Northampton will fill their end as they are still trying to get into the play-offs .And for me it is not a between kind of match because if we win and Shrewsbury drop points there will be a bit of celebrating going on after the game .

I mean it's in between either celebrating promotion.
Not the prize now.
Or the chance we could win the League if shrewsbury don't win.
If it was other way round and Cambridge away next and Northampton last then I think it would add another 1000 to the gate. End of season celebration regardless for last match of season.

According to Northampton forum, they reckon they have so far sold 450 tickets. They hope 500 will be coming. This is nowhere near a sell out, but is still a decent number. They do not realistically stand a chance of the play off. Even if they beat us (which I hope will not happen), they need too many other teams to slip up for them to be in the play offs. From reading their forum, most are coming because they enjoy the away trip to Burton, as well as their normal team support loyalties.

Hopefully we get a bloody good crowd and some of the first timers/irregular visitors enjoy the day so much that they come back at the start of next season.
Really looking forward to Saturday and I think that come 5pm we'll be League 2 Champions.
The thought of going to the Shabbey Stadium on the last day as Champions makes me slobber with delight.

I would really like the Championship in the bag on Saturday but its very doubtful Cheltenham will take anything off the Shrews. I have never forgotten those play off semi-final games or the nastiness of Cambridge fans towards us in the Conference winning season. We may have to win the Title at the shabby !
