League 2 Team of the year must be due out soon
Wonder if we will get anyone in it?
Voted for by fellow players I believe

I'd be surprised Observer, we saw from the FL Awards we appear to be overlooked by fellow professionals, maybe Moose will make it?

Is there a better right back than Phil? I would suggest Damo as well but he only played 32 league games, and Phil played 43.

They aren't in my list of best players at Burton tbh Having said that they are starting to pass the ball more under JFH. I didn't like the way they hoofed it in the past. I think Mousinho must have respect of fellow players Maybe Akins? Beavon must earn respect but doesn't score enough I think to get voted in. The other one was voted by managers - this one voted by fellow players. Perhaps JFH came too late in the season to get manager of the year

The less recognition our players get here the better, less chance of them being poached by other clubs !

Football League have been tweeting just from their FL Awards listings.
Beavon was voted at number 6 and Mousinho at number 8 for the player of the season.

They aren't in my list of best players at Burton tbh But that's not really relevant in this type of vote. The vote is for best player in each position. Personally I think Moose and Phil are as good in their positions as I have seen play, read about and watched on videos. I agree with your comments on Beavon and JFH although Jimmy, Mellon or Ainsworth would be my choices. Most players voting have probably only seen the other players twice this season as well so I think it's ok to have your picks.

I'm good with the players voting on two performances that they see, after all they have the best view, a centre forward for instance should be able to recognise who the best centre halves he played against were. As it happens I don't think I could name another right back from League Two, I don't tend to watch the opposition too much.
