Amongst all the celebrations and thanks to the fantastic work done by JFH, Mike Oldfield and the rest of the back room team, I hope there is a little celebration going on somewhere on the M1 as Birmingham return from Watford. Cheers Gaz and he boys, you were a massive part of where we are now.
Special thanks to the bearded assassin Jack Sharkey! See you at fat club on Monday :-)

Yes Funky and quite a bit at Bramall Lane too - from Nigel, who started it all off, Gary Crosby, Martin Taylor and Andy Garner as both a one time player and coach. All genuine people who were very committed to Burton Albion.

Agreed mikeyboy and Pesch too, I will always appreciate the job he did for us :-) I'd like to see Pesch back in management too, probably with Darren Moore as his No 2. I appreciate that he always tried to play entertaining football and it's a shame how the last 2 months or so turned out for him here.

Agreed mikeyboy and Pesch too, I will always appreciate the job he did for us :-) Great thread Funky. The people who helped get us here should always be appreciated and thanks for mentioning Pesch as well. It's easily forgotten that we were written off as cannon fodder in our first season in league two but he got us 10 points off the play offs that year. The way I think of it is Cloughie laid the foundations, Pesch got us established, Rowett got us ready for the next level and Hasselbaink has taken us there, all under the command of Ben.

I honestly look quite ridiculous in any football shirt, especially bright yellow. However, I may make an exception and wear my Wembley 1987 shirt which was far too large for me in 1987. Forward thinking there ;-)

Was going to write a reply but having read your reply Spence you have encapsulated everything I would have said, absolutely spot on.

Cheers TM! It's a great time to be a Brewer. It's frightening to think what we could achieve if the people of Burton actually got behind a club as ambitious as ours!
