Every game is a big game and this one certainly is up there, 3 points and I reckon a total of 87 points will see us promoted. Jimmy will have the lads focused but I'm sure it will be a battle, Carlisle are not going to lie down that's for sure as they need the points desperately themselves. Would hope for a good crowd tonight but I will be surprised if we get more than 3,500 to 4,000. COME ON YOU BREW----ERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think 3500 to 4000 is a decent crowd for carlisle on a wednesday. Won't be many away fans will there?
I'm going tonight
Feel guilty not seeing as many first team matches as most of you
But in my defence will probably have watched at least 50 Burton academy matches home and away weekends and in tournaments by end of season
I've put the miles in that's for sure!

Would be nice to play some great football tonight and dominate the match
Will be disappointed if we don't get a win
Even better if it's comfortable

Unless we score in first half hour then I foresee a tight tense battle. Although I do expect us to win. 1-0 !

I think that Carlisle have many exile fans. They have a supporters club London branch which covers much of the South and Midlands area and I think that many of those will be coming. I know of two Carlisle fans in Birmingham who are coming up on the train and they tell me that there will be a group of them. They have invited me to join them on the away terrace but I'm thinking just a beer with them beforehand will be sufficient.

On paper, this is a game we really should win. I'm sure in Jimmy's day, Chelsea had loads of 'easy' matches so he should be able to say the right thing to the players and get the right result.

Hmm, ref kicked off 3 mins late, never a good sign. Never a free kick, from which they scored (great strike). 1st clash of heads... The referee forgets about dropping the ball... When he does he did 30 yards away from where the game was stooped and outside the area. The goalie picks it up outside the area and wanders back to his own penalty area. It wasn't looking good for the ref and he hasn't got any better...

(We are flying home early to see the last games..Mickleover getting promoted too!)

What a strange game football can be, early goal then practically a 1-10-0-0 formation. That point could prove very useful

Been to the hair shop and had me "do" fixed up - GOAL for BAFC at 7 mins AET by newbie Johnstone !!! Score TIED now at 1-1. Full Time - final score 1-1. BAFC remain in FIRST PLACE with two points clear of 2nd. Bury have a chance if they win out (they have 4 games -12 points - left) to knock us into the playoffs. COYB - - -

I have been to some odd football games over many years and that one is up there with them ! So many aspects to look at ! I will comment more when I get my breath back, I suppose the only statistic that matters is we got an 98th minute equaliser when we looked out on our feet. Unbelievable !

Too much tinkering with the team Jimmy Let's hope Jimmy reads this forum and can gain some knowledge from your remarkable insight. We need you Banksy. Share some more of your infinite wisdom. I'm in awe of your tactical nuance and guile. I bow down before you and worship your obviously superior intelligence. Tell us, oh wise one, what is the true meaning of life? The question to the answer of 42?

That was an utter disgrace. I've been watching football for 30 years and that's the worst show of gamesmanship I've ever seen. At the end I was more delighted that we'd stopped them from getting three points that us getting one. I suppose when you're down at the bottom, you'll win points by any means. They'll never win points with talent...
Can't win promotion at Morecambe now, so we need to beat them (if only it was so easy) and do it at home again at Northampton and our old friend, Mr Wilder.

Can't win promotion at Morecambe now Yes we can. If we win on Saturday, and Bury don't, we are promoted. Doesn't matter what Southend do in this scenario. If we draw, Bury lose, and Southend don't win, we are promoted.
