Good shout terraceman but we all must be hoping that's just the "insurance policy" and that our boys will keep racking up the points to eradicate the lottery of the play-offs?

JFH is tearing a strip off the 4th, claiming a push in the box on their goal. I'll take point away, and yes TOTT still. Commentators are saying Naylor and Stewart were very good in the holding positions. And that Johnstone put a shift in! I think they were having a go to the 4th for what appeared to be a clear foul on Edwards around halfway in the run up to the corner that they scored from.

Dunno, commentators said it was because of a push on Akins in the box during the corner?

Very possibly, I didn't see that, but certainly Edwards and Moose were aggrieved about the non foul decision.
Very encouraged by Stewart, he look very good, committed and skilful. Johnstone tired towards the end of the first half, needed the game for sure, but looked more promising than MAC has done so far.
McGurk was my MOTM, I also recognise the work and skill of Palmer and Naylor but McGurk ran himself into the ground, was a creative outlet and was fantastic defensively. I once criticised on social media for lacking application in a game under Rowett but he really does put a full shift in these days.

I was being a bit sarcastic with that play off comment. Heard the interview with Jimmy after the game and he wasn't happy with the push on Akins at the corner leading to the goal. On reflection a very good point and thanks for your appraisal funky, appreciated.

Radio commentators also said Stewart was impressive, and that he and Naylor were vg in keeping Reid off his game. They had praise for Matty and said the same about McGurk in his attacking and defending efforts. Where are my sunglasses?
PS: very happy now that they didn't add another bus, as would have been stuck on the M5 and late for the game!

According to the Plymouth forum there are 234 Brewers fans in attendance and we're 'a village team' Had a lot of time for Plymouth when I've been there before but we're getting absolutely ripped to pieces by their supporters this evening. Seen some genuinely hate filled garbage on social media as well.

I've just been reading it and I definitely sence a bit of jealousy. I know we dont get the biggest numbers but at least we are decent fans. I'd love to get to more away games but struggle to get someone to come to a home game with me so away is very rare!

Taking populations into account -and us taking 234 to Plymouth. Taking into account their respective size (a population of 261,000 to Burton's 68,000) means that they would need to bring 911 to Burton to equal what we achieved yesterday. Something I don't think they have actually achieved as yet. So the 'village team' in reality did ok. Also if this calculation had been based in catchment area rather than population of the city/town - Plymouth would have had to bring massively more. Well done to the 234 that made the long trip.

We're not a village team, we're a pub team. And we're top of the league.

The push on Akins is very obvious for the Argyle equaliser in that video.
