I think we all know what to expect from a Graham Westley team, physical battle with a barrow load of gamesmanship thrown in, fake injuries, drink breaks and team talks ! I'm sure the gaffer will plan for it and I'm quietly confident we will win a tight battle with whatever line up we put out.

I think our starting eleven will be the same as Tranmere except Gurks in and Tafty on the bench along with Shearer, Stewart, Slade, Harness, Dunn, Johnstone and ?
McLaughlin, Edwards, Mousinho, Cansdell-Sherriff, McCrory, Akins, Palmer, Naylor, El Khayati, Gurks, Beavon (Gurks and Nasser could switch)

Hope they have the rain covers on. Rain today until evening, then heavy rain forecast from 3pm tomorrow up until kickoff.

I've had a fitness test on my bad back this morning and pleased to say I've passed and will be able to attend tonight and add my vocal support. I'm not expecting Jimmy to change too much but you never know. Will be interesting to see if any of the three new loan signings see much action. A win would keep the pressure on the Shrews and Wycombe and heap it on Bury who lost there game to the weather on Saturday. Hope the fact it is on Sky doesn't affect the attendance too much. COME ON YOU BREW------ERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a feeling Denny Johnstone will be on the bench and probably Maynard in place of Slade if he is fit. Whichever way you look at it the bench will be very strong tonight and with Cuvelier, and Curier nearing fitness and Weir returning from suspension soon the squad has plenty of depth to it for the run in.

Hope the fact it is on Sky doesn't affect the attendance too much. I can see the weather messing this one up, heavy rain forecast from 4pm to 10pm. They had the covers on yesterday during the monsoon, they probably have them off now and will be put back on by rain time until the teams warmup. BTW, on the BBC weather page Burton On Trent is not recognized but Burton Upon Trent is (in both cases with or without hyphens )

Aye Peacock, the BBC couldn't find there arse with both hands, we are in the West Midlands according to a survey I filled in the other day ! Our local accent is definitely East Midlands. I have to agree, many will see the weather and watch it on TV, nothing beats actually being there and showing your support. Lets hope we are wrong. Don't think many will make the journey from Stevenage as its being shown live in their club house.

Not a "must win" but a "we really could do with winning" game given that the following three games after tonight represent the toughest period in the run in. Tonight will be tough in itself but I think we've got more than enough to roll Stevenage over and a 12 point cushion over Bury and a superior goal difference would be the perfect "lead in" to the Easter period.

I'm very hopeful and positive. There is no reason why Burton Albion cannot beat Stevenage at our home ground in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. I think they will play for a draw and to hit us on the break alongside hard physical tactics and lots of long balls, free kicks and corners. Westley is a very good manager and his team are no mugs. They will already know our weaknesses and Achilles' heel. They will try and exploit that by any means necessary. Confident of 3 points coming our way.
