536 away fans - no chance surely?
That's more than some Championship clubs take away and almost 25 per cent of our home fanbase?
Perhaps Everton and Liverpool fans when they don't have a game head to Tranmere for their Saturday football fix
I just can't believe we would take that many to Tranmere?
Would we?

Good shout Observer...only use them if really needed next Monday, as there are still tough games to come.
Would rather see them fully fit for Wycombe at home and Luton away.
I'm not saying Stevenage will be easy to beat without them but we don't want any further injuries now.
And yes...I agree with the comments on Tranmere...good club, good ground and decent supporters and I hope they stay up.
Happy to see Hartlepool go...bad attitude and rip-off pricing and Cheltenham probably rival York for being the worst footballing sides in the division this season?

I don't think Hartlepool will go down
They were down and out a month ago
I think they've won most games (apart from against us) since then
They've got momentum

What Jimmy actually said was that Gurks and Blyth could well be back for Stevenage with Cuvelier back after Stevenage. Eg ready for Plymouth away.

If McGurk and Blyth are back for Stevenage then I'd have McGurk back in on the left and drop McCrory back to left back and leave Blyth on the bench. I appreciate McCrory scored our first goal but I'd just much rather have him at left back than Taft. I like Taft but I don't think he had a great game yesterday. Apart from that I wouldn't see any reason to change anything else for Stevenage because I was more than happy with Naylor and Palmer in the middle and I think Palmer was my shout for man of the match.

Hartlepool are on a roll and after our third went in their was a definite feeling of Tranmere throwing the towel in. My money is on Tranmere and either York or Cheltenham. Would like to see Tranmere stay up and I agree with others on here about them being a proper club but I'm really not bothered who drops out of the other two. Not particularly fond of either.

Gong back to Observers post about the away following , there was a big following yesterday so 536 is not beyond the realms of possibilities , there were certainly 5 coaches and quite a few cars passed us with Albion scarves in the windows .

I have to agree about McCrory being at left back. I also like Taffty, but he was very uncomfortable yesterday at left back. He is much better at centre back. I think he was suffering though from a lack of confidence through not playing much recently. He'll bounce back.

We each had 5 shots on target and we scored on 3 of ours with their defender Dugdale getting credit for the OG. Cuvelier, Blyth and Gurks will be available for Stevenage, apparently! Pleased if that is the case - was that from the radio? The radio, commentators said they all will (or perhaps it was should?) be ready for Stevenage. Weather they are speculating or have inside info?

Maybe not Cuvelier if cbh1's info is better, but it would be good to get some of them back, the bench was very inexperienced yesterday.

Thinking back to the radio comments, they might have meant to say Curier (instead of Cuvelier), or I might have heard it wrong? This was from the paper on Wednesday 18th. " MICKAEL Antoine-Curier will have a late fitness test before tonight's clash between Burton Albion and Southend United. The 32-year-old Brewers striker picked up a hamstring strain in Saturday's 3-0 win over Accrington. Adam McGurk, who was substituted at the weekend, is also fine for tonight's clash (7.45pm) with no ill effects from the sore hamstring which caused him to miss the win at Hartlepool. "I took him off because it was 3-0 and there was no need for me to risk him," said Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. "Mickael has got a chance of playing." There is less good news around Florent Cuvelier, who is likely to miss at least the next two weeks after injuring his hamstring scoring the winner at Hartlepool, with one article in the club's matchday programme saying he could miss "four to six weeks".
"Cuvelier is not ready yet and will take another two weeks," said Hasselbaink.Read more: www.burtonmail.co.uk/Late-fitness-test-Mickael-Antoine-Curier/story-26190227-detail/story.html#ixzz3UjSRI8blRead more: burtonbrewers.proboards.com/thread/1641/injuries-update?page=2#ixzz3V7E71800"

That's why I thought MAC must be one of the players expected back next week

Having watched it several times I must say that was an excellent penalty save from Jon McLaughlin. Important too as it was a game changing moment.

Edwards gave the penno away (contrary to what they said on the FLS). Moose kicked the ball off the penalty spot and got booked, very silly. As our most important player getting booked for that and risking a red later is just daft.

did anyone notice? contrary to all reports our first goal was an OG. Damos shot was going across the box and deflected off #5 Ihiekwe's foot.

Whether it came off that defenders foot or not (and I'm not convinced it did)the shot was on target and it will be given to Damo .

There was no deflection on Damo's shot. Flew in as clean as a whistle. Agree about it being Phil that conceded the penalty. Called it at the time when the Sky Sports reporter sat next to me asked who had conceded it!
