We are at home to Accrington
Let's just win that no matter what. No messing about just get the job done.
Meanwhile Bury, Luton, Southend, Plymouth and Stevenage are ALL away from home
And Wycombe play Shrewsbury
If we win next week then with just 10 games left we should see some real daylight at the top

It is looking very nice at the moment, it will likely stay that way, it may not.

Then all other teams play on Tuesday the 17th and we play Southend here on the 18th. Playing a day after the rest could be a good or a bad thing? But it has to be done. April Fools Day may well tell a story!

I like the fact they all play day before us - they will drop points and will be good watching it happen

3 points takes us to 70.
12 more after should be enough I think, as everyone drops points every week!

We owe Accrington revenge.... Not much would please me more than giving Accy an absolute tonking so that their 3 supporters and 75 flags all go home looking as miserable as they are anyway. I predict they will win 1 nil.

There will be a big Burton crowd at this one
As well as a lot of young local football teams going due to the promotion on the website there will be a lot of the academy players through all the agegroups and parents going to this as it's down as a match for them to attend on the calendar
As a parent of an academy player I actually feel that players and parents should be asked to attend more regularly tbh
Become a bigger part of the club
I know it's entirely different football and level but at Barcelona if an academy player misbehaves during the week their punishment is NOT to be allowed to watch the next home match
They watch every home match otherwise
There's about 150 kids at the academy - and most will need a parent to attend with them or get them to the game
They won't all make it but another 200 fans supporting us maybe once a month wouldn't be a bad thing
(The kids normally get free ticket but parents pay to go in with them normally)
For this to happen ongoing would just need to be told players are expected to attend home matches before they sign (maybe just once a month initially)
IMO it's good for them - especially if we are trying to play decent football
Plus when a player is being given the chance to train and play for a pro club then it's hard to say you aren't going to watch and support their first team

Hi all, been away since Thursday evening, not long home, no t'internet access or nowt but eventually found out we got a late winner. Great Saturday for us. Twists and turns a plenty to come I think but given a decent rub of the green we should make it. Every week is a big week from now until the end of the season. Some very good points observer in your post which I totally agree with.
