What a great result for us. Bingham with the only goal on 32 minutes, Luton are now 6 points behind us ! Well done Stags

Luton have taken 9 points from last 18 points - not good enough for automatic
Wycombe 6 points from last 18 - that's freefall
Southend actually were on a run of 12 points from 12 but last two games have delivered just 1 point from 6
If we can keep winning one drawing one the rest at the top will continue to fall away slowly but surely
We've been applying pressure now for a while with our results and at last we have some real daylight. Now is when we need to kick on again.

If the BBC league table is correct, then we have the best form in League 2 over the last 10 games and that result last night has done us no harm whatsoever.
Just got to keep the pressure on and hope Shrewsbury run out of 85th minute plus winning goals!
COYB...let's have that title winning trophy!

I listened to the final 10 minutes commentary last night on the Mansfield side. I was frankly shocked at the language being used by the over excited so called commentator. Is this a BBC broadcast? In my opinion he should not be let anywhere near a broadcasting microphone again. Good result for us though.

Apologies if I'm missing the blindingly obvious but do Radio Derby or Radio Nottingham do Stags games? The reason I ask is because one of Radio Nottingham's football presenters, Robin Chipperfield, is a Southend fan and launched an astonishingly vicious attack on us on Twitter after the play off semi last season. Got into a bit of a war of words with Ed Dawes over it as I remember. He came across as a deeply unpleasant and unprofessional person and I was amazed the BBC put someone like him on the air. Just wondered if it was him?

I think you'll find it's a commercial station that has the radio commentary rights to Mansfield Town matches. Don't know if it's that station who are on their Stags Player or not? BBC Nottingham only do score updates and post match interviews, with Charlie Slater usually covering their matches

Luton will be without McNulty, Wilkinson and Doyle again on Saturday, hope Adebayo has a field day ! Wycombe will find it tough at Carlisle, Stevenage will test Southend but I fancy Shrews will have too much for Tranmere. We have to concentrate on ourselves, Dagenham has never been a happy hunting ground, no wins on 5 visits in the league, in fact you have to go back as far as the 2003/4 season in the Conference for our last win there. ( I was there on our 1st visit in the 1974/5 season when we won an FA Trophy Q/Final tie 3-1 thanks to 2 goals from Peter Ward and a 25 yard screamer from Ian Storey Moore !) The Daggers have hit a bit of a purple patch so I'm envisaging a tough game, I'm hoping for at least a point but think we could get all 3 to turn the screw and increase the pressure on our rivals.

According to the Mansfield website they have three of their own people doing the Stags Player commentary rather than being done via a BBC or commercial radio station. The way it reads then Mansfield 103.2 FM only seem to provide exclusive away match commentary.

Our official online broadcasting station, Stags Player is the only place where you can hear full match commentary on every Stags’ home game. Mansfield 103.2 provides exclusive full match commentary on every away match in their Saturday Sport show from 1pm. www.mansfieldtown.net/club/Local_Coverage/index.aspx

I have to admit I rarely listen to radio commentary of games because it's not the same as actually being there and I don't like listening to the whole atmosphere of a football match and not being able to be there...which explains why I haven't got a clue as to who has coverage rights, who can broadcast what etc...
