Does anyone know where that annoying gobby woman stood on the popside near the halfway line has come from recently. She shouts complete shite all match and never shuts up. Everyone stood around there just takes the pee and laughs at her crap. Entertaining but highly annoying. I know we could move elsewhere on the stand but we all have our own little area and just want her to shut up!!

Have you tried talking to her about it?

Loves the sound of her own voice too much to care, surely someone else heard her?

There are a couple of older men in the same area who always shout shite at someone regardless, usually it's Weir this year,

Talk to her and tell her, politely and assertively, why you are unhappy.

You can't move just because of her. I've had a few like that stand near me behind the goal over the years. It's amusing at first but then when you see them turn up you just think "oh for f**ks sake, not you again"...but then again I'm sure people think that about me. I digress. They either go away eventually or shut up because they're sick of the sound of their own voice. If it's pissing you and those around you off enough then yes, as E says, have a word. You'll (hopefully) have the backing of those around you and at best she'll shut up. At worst she'll get gobby at which point you get a steward.
I've actually had one in front of me recently. He stands with (I presume) his Dad. Any misplaced pass, shot etc...it's "this is f**king shit, he's not goood enough, they're not even trying to win" blah blah blah...he even booed at full time on Tuesday night. Don't know if I mentioned it in the Tranmere thread but he was booing when we had that 935 pass exhibition near the end of the game. "Not even trying to score another goal" apparently. What makes it worse is that he wears a ridiculous red bobble hat as well.
What I've always found about most people is that they're idiots.

You are all making me laugh, I've had people constantly criticise, shout abuse and moan loudly about anything even when we are winning, I've always started shouting the opposite to what they were spouting and soon they shut up. You may get the odd look in your direction from them but you just have to be man enough to stand your ground. I once had 2 moaning on and on, on the Popside, I actually challenged them out loud as to why they came if they hadn't got anything positive to contribute and they crawled into their shells, I see them every home game in the same spot but they don't moan out loud anymore probably because they know I will pull them up straight away. Don't stand near me if all you are going to do is moan, criticise and pull players to pieces, I pay my money the same as them and have every right to stand my ground for the club and playing staff.
