This is a good article on how well we have coped while key players (Macca, Akins, SCS) have been out injured over the past month. Couple this with the previous month where we played and had great success against some of the top teams in the league and it further highlights the excellent job Jimmy and team have done. Last 10 games, 6 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss 21pts from possible 30 and a +10GD Previous 10 games - 4 wins, 1 draw, 5 losses (leauge games only, the cups would make this a lot worse and not really a fair comparison) 13pts from possible 30 and a -5GD It is pretty clear that the change in managers has been good for us. At the time I didn't think a change was necessary, in retrospect it seems that perhaps it was. During Gazs last 10 games he wasn't able to turn things around and I don't think he recognized the couple of small changes that needed to be made. Perhaps he was managing with his heart more than his head, or perhaps his head had already been turned toward greener pastures and he lost focus. Every manager does and will make mistakes and I think that was probably his biggest. www.burtonmail.co.uk/Burton-Albion-stay-promotion-race-injuries/story-25897333-detail/story.html

And after the first ten games of the season won 7, drawn 1 lost 2, 22 points.
I don't get the need to compare the two. JFH is doing fine GR did fine.
We will never know whether if GR had stayed whether he would have done better than JFH, worse, or the same.

Thats just part of what we do. We compared Gaz to Pesch, now Jimmy to Gaz. I don't see a problem, its just banter and there are many things we can't say for sure. Like when you said "If JFH had taken over after the first 8 games or whatever, it would have been difficult for JFH to look favourable." We couldn't possibly ever know that. We can only look at stats and facts and add our thoughts whether they be right, wrong or indifferent.
As for making comparisons, in the previous thread I intentionally tried to make it so as not to make comparisons but....
