Full time - we WIN final score is 2-1 Phillips did not even make the bench, what is that all about?? !! Solid 2nd. place in League standings. Ever so slowly gaining points separation on teams below us (Luton/Shrews/etc.) C O Y B

Newport won again - they are becoming a pain
I saw Jeff Stelling on sky say that adam murray must hate burton Albion - and that he had a disastrous 2 game loan then we beat him on his first return to the club as a manager
(not realising he's been an academy coach for us for last two or three years!)
Great result again of course

I agree with that Banksy, a number of positives, a few things that pee'd me off a bit, but overall, very happy with three points and off to a big game next week.

Great first half for us, great second half for both led to a very nervous last 45 mins. Think we deserved the win, Matty Palmer plays way above his age at this level.

Great first half. Agree Palmer plays a very mature game for his age. He seems a lot stronger now and deserved MOM. He does well with Weir sitting in, who I thought had a good game today. In terms of quality there was only one side in it, but fair play to Mansfield for given it a go. In the second half they just tried to get as many free kicks as possible to launch the ball into our penalty area. Good three points against a very ordinary side.

What's wrong with that? It was his first football league goal, wasn't it? Or are you highlighting it because the Mail actually got something right?

I remember Palmer scoring with a left foot shot from outside the penalty area a few seasons ago, but I can't remember who it was against and whether it was a cup match or not. can anyone help?
