I think the team will be as last week, unless Lucas Akins is fit. We will certainly have to watch Billy Kee. He is always likely to pop up with a goal, as we all know. I doubt he will risk Akins yet though as he has only had his first game in the reserves on Wednesday. Mansfield will have quite a few changes due to comings and goings this week.

Assuming everyone is fit (except macca and Shane) I think Lucas and Billy will get 20 mins or so. But I'll go out on a limb and say Maletic will start instead of Taft, live dangerously

As claymillman said, with Akins being fit but not match fit yet he'll probably not be risked. If that is the case then, even though I'd normally be reluctant to change a winning team, I'd have Jimmy Phillips over Maynard in my starting 11 every day of the week. Otherwise unchanged.

I feel Maynard is still finding his feet so to speak. So I expect him to play. On the ball he looks pretty good. Off the ball he has worried me a few times. I would like to see Jimmy get some decent time on the pitch though.

In the initial post on this thread clay mentioned Billy Kee, so yes thats reference to him. Like Akins and Phillips he isn't match fit so can't see any of them starting but we'll see in a few hours.

The trouble with playing against Billy, whether as a sub or a starter, he is always liable to pop up with a goal. Great when he played for us but beware when he is against us.

Phillips strikes me as the type of player Hasselbaink would really appreciate so I'd hope we see a bit more of him today. Who knows, the reserve game in midweek might have given the gaffer some food for thought as far as the team selection goes.

The most successful sides always stuck with the same eleven where possible, so I hope JFH does likewise again.
Maletic will definitely be on the bench I would think and I agree that perhaps Jimmy Phillips should get a good 20 minutes today, as he will cause their defence problems.
Billy Kee needs marking tightly when he comes on but I think we have defenders more than capable of containing him and in fairness Billy's head goes down if he's outsmarted and he turns to niggly fouls,so I'm hoping for no sensational return from him today?
We need to make this one a big three pointer today and go for upping the goal difference again, although we are at our best positive figure since joining the league. It could be the deciding factor this year, with it being so tight at the top?
