you have to go to the game to see how hard Beavs works and how well Damo defends. 4 shots on target, McL really? Highlight vids usually just show goals and expose defenders mistakes, like the guy who failed to mark Tafty and the defender who skied a golden opportunity.

Fantastic result, gutted I cannot get to the games at the moment How is Blyth fitting in? I was unsure of him after his first spell with us.

Blyth is our most consistent scorer with 5 goals in 19 appearances, most of them as a sub so his goals per minutes played must be quite good. And he holds and distributes the ball well. His loan expires Jan 15th I think. I would keep him, if Leicester agree, unless Jimmy brings a new striker in. Or even then maybe if someone else went out on loan/was transferred.

Here are a few stats I believe to be correct based on league 2 AKINS 4 GOALS 1283 MINS BEAVON 3 GOALS 1944 MINS BLYTH 5 GOALS 1107 MINS MAC DON. 6 GOALS 1662 MINS MCGURCK 1 GOAL 1037 MINS
Between the 5 they have made 82 starts, 1 goal per 4 games from the whole of the forward line. Total goals 33 from 24 games Also I think Bevs,MacDonald & Blyth are all on 4 yellows
Based on above ,being 2nd in the table half through the season is fantasic.
But I think it shows the gaffer needs to strength in this department.

The club stats page shows Alex had 5 and would have served one game. It also shows Blyth with 4 and it shows Beavs at 3 but they were both booked on Sat so don't know if those are reflected in those numbers? It shows Tafty with a goal though so maybe it is up-to-date. www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk/stats/player-stats/Hope he signs his nephew as he's not getting any games in the Greek Super League, his last 4 transfers were free but think it would be a loan IF.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdpQOcanhqQyoutu.be/70jRwBtzlog

Those numbers are for yellow cards and are correct including Saturday. The three for Bev includes one at Carlisle that ended up being a red card after a second yellow (not included)
The amnesty for accumulating five yellow cards has now passed so nobody is imminently in danger of a suspension.
Those stats on the websites are all compiled automatically by Press Association.

Just to add ....the PA generated stats are not always 100% accurate.
I recall earlier in the season away at Afc Wimbledon all the post match stats showed that we didn't have any yellow cards in this game or maybe only one. In fact at least three Burton players were yellow carded in the game including Moose and Macca. I suspect those cards are still missing from the online stats.
fact is that PA sent someone that night who wasn't very good to do the report!
