The woes of Hereford United continue. Already due to play next year in the Southern League (Step 3?) they have had their ground condemned until safety issues raised by the local council are addressed. Must say I am quite sad about this for them. Although the ground was dreadful and I once had to smuggle fish and chips in because they didn't allow food from outside to be consumed on the premises, I did enjoy going there and have some happy memories. Tony James scoring to win 3-4 for instance. A good team laid low...

Yes it is a sad state of affairs, as a young lad I well remember the dramatic FA Cup win over Newcastle United,( a game I will remember all my life), a few decent visits to Edgar street and a sad memory of their louts thumping innocent fans in the Popside at Eton Park.
