Kee and Alexander appear to have gelled more. Jimmy P brilliant again. Bell back to his best. Great game. Monkey Hangers didn't get a sniff really.

Much better all round. Was worried at half time that they'd come at us all guns blazing and force us back in the second half, but they didn't seem to have the drive or determination to be able to do that.
Special mention to Callum McFadzean who looked assured even though played out of position at left back.

A much improved performance today. Hartlepool are looking very shaky for survival and didn't threaten at all, with the single exception of them being given a good chance to score from a through ball to their striker, a good 2 yards offside when the pass was made. Fortunately Lyness dealt with it and justice was done. I find it difficult to believe we scored 3 goals today. The first time since last August at Fleetwood I think. On the critical side I couldn't understand why Alexander was left on for the full 90 minutes when with 20 minutes to go he was clearly physically spent, but had played well, Symes needed pitch time, or Knowles for that matter. Still a sound win and better performance thank goodness.

I thought Lyness did very well with that chance, made Harewood make a poor decision! didn't commit before he did.

Disagree about alexander . I thought he played his balls off . He set a very good example to the others . He also played a massive part in bell's goal, , playing mind games with the keeper before it was banged in . Great to see us playing proper football for the most part . We could beat anyone playing that way . Long may it continue .

Macca was my MOTM, he ran hard all day! Thought Alexander was very good (first time for me but I missed the Plymouth game) as was MacFadzean, Sharps played in a great cross for Billys goal, and Deano made another brilliant save on Marlon Harewoods breakaway which was one of their 2 shots. They were the worst team I've seen this year, shocking defending on our 2nd and 3rd goals. But, one more point and we're in the playoffs! COYB!

I actually don't think that Hartlepool were a bad side. They lacked a lot of confidence but if Burton had not played so well over 90 mins then they had the potential to punish us. I think we can beat ChesVegas by a similar margin and automatic promotion is not out of the question as we hit great form at the end of the season.
