We need to do something. Cheltenham have certainly got a goal or two in them.

20 mins to go. 12 shots but only 1 on target. Looks like we're heading for a third game in a row without a goal.

Will the ref book a home player?

Come on Albion, pull your fingers out! If we grab a winner we're eight clear of the drop.

6 mins added on. Not even the slightest whiff of a chance.

Our inability to score or even genuinely threaten the opposition goal is shameful. We're not going to stay up unless we start doing so.
Our only saving grace is that we haven't conceded as many as most of the other sides around us.

Hugill chance cleared off the line, Sweeney fluffs the rebound.

I guess we should be content with an away point.

0-0 FT. 2 huge points dropped. MP talks a good game, but his team seems to play a pretty terrible one.

Sat back for all of the 1st half and wasted 45+ mins.. Left it late again 2nd half to actually have a go at winning this game.

I thought we did ok considering our problems. Which were underlined just before kick off when Dave Fletcher said ‘Curtis Davies with towards 1,000 senior appearances (it’s actually 678) must have smiled when he saw who he’d be marking today” (Ola Abebomi with 6). That’s no criticism of Ola Adebomi by the way, I hope he goes on and has a great career.

Defence our strength, let's hope these youngsters up front get to terms with league 1 football sooner rather than later. I think most of us would have been pleased with a point prior to kick off? Well done lads

I haven't seen the game, my nerves couldn't take it, so only viewed via the internet and social media but I think that given their position versus ours, points difference etc, plus our last two performances you have to pleased with a point. A defeat would have been disastrous and put us right in trouble in the short term and who knows we may well still be close to going down but for the here and now that will do. Sounded like Hugill could have won it near the end but not to be. Other results were not too bad with defeats for Vale, Shrewsbury and Cambridge plus a late draw for Charlton and then just Reading showing us how to beat Carlisle.
The line up pre match showed we were going for a nil nil and was very defensively set up. MP knows our strengths, he says, which is clearly resolute defence and I think we will play this way until such a time as we need to be positive i.e. if we drop into the bottom four and need wins. He did say when he took over that he had a few ideas of how to improve our weaknesses, presumably he meant attacking, but as yet to the untrained eye this has not been in evidence.
Anyway, all eyes now turn to Tuesday when Cheltenham play their game in hand which if they beat Charlton the gap will be 2 points and it's back to squeaky bum time with two tough looking fixtures up next. For now we can take a deep breath and be thankful we have dodged a bullet and go again next week.

I enjoyed the second half and (typical me) am surprised at the negativity. It was a big improvement on the last two games. Obviously.
For once I thought Deji played well. Even before Hugills chance, we looked like we might score. I reckon another ten minutes of added time and we'd have got one. I like Steve Seddon more and more - he's lively. Ryan Sweeney is a colossus. That shot was aimed right at my head (unfortunately not the goal). Long live ducking.
Cheltenham didn't make it easy. Neither did the ref. It was like they had twelve men; that's probably why we tried it.
Gilligan had a good game, Helm was back to his lively self.
I enjoyed it, so there.

Have to agree sinfin. Someone said we created very little but 2nd half we should have scored at least 1. God knows how Tom Hamer cleared the ball first half, looked a certain goal.

The team that "went for a nil-nil" had 16 shots and two on target; the home team had eight shots, none on target. Yes, I know stats don't tell you everything....
