5 points below us in 21st... the last relegation place... but a game in hand... Awful start to season but... February form not so shabby... Lost twice to Wycombe and drew with Wigan...in between however... had a run of 3 wins - Port Vale, Blackpool and Cambridge. Beat Pompey in January. I hope big Sam is back for this one...

It doesn't get much more important than this where you only have to look at the league table along with tomorrows fixtures to realise its significance. On a positive note a win really puts some daylight between us and the bottom 4 where you would have to assume Port Vale won't win at Pride Park although you never know with the bottle jobs down the road. A defeat and well you can see the league table for yourself and what it would mean.
Have listened to MP's pre match interview and he continues to say the right things and comes across in the right way and speaks in a language fans appreciate. I do think however that he missed a trick this week where he named an unchanged team for the Carlisle after the poor performance against Northampton. For me it sends out the wrong message that you can keep your place even after a defeat. Clearly, you can't change everybody just because you don't win but I think 2-4 changes for the Tuesday night game sends a message to those that played on Saturday and also those that didn't. I haven't managed a football team before but from what you hear then the majority of players need the threat/worry that there is somebody waiting in the wings to take your place should you not perform. Our league position does not show that we have lots of irreplaceable players in the team so he should have made changes. He indicated he would for tomorrow but more down to fatigue and three games in a week etc. rather than performance related.
Anyway, fingers crossed for tomorrow for something positive.

having read Colston's piece about the press conference yesterday I'm expecting a couple of changes for tomorrow.
I guess Bennett will be out injured
I reckon one of the midfield 3, probably Helm will be dropped. they are all out of form
maybe we'll properly change things up, bring in Kamwa, move Hamer into the back 3 and try to do something attack minded. pitch will definitely suit Kamwa more this weekend than the last 2 games did

MP should be given time to put his own ideas and players into place, preferably in league one but if it’s league two so be it. It’s certainly not his fault and those calling for his removal is insensitive and unkind. If you talk to people on the terraces the general consensus is,the last four years have been a struggle, and the silent majority are bound to get disgruntled eventually,it’s not an easy watch hence people staying away and finding better things to do. If you are flirting with relegation constantly in the past few seasons you will get relegated.

Would like to see Kamwa given a run, he’s one of the few players we have who can take a man on.

Would like to see Kamwa given a run, he’s one of the few players we have who can take a man on. In the last two home matches, when he's got the ball, I've woken up. I'd always planned to go to Cheltenham on Saturday - I'm making more of an effort this season. But I've been at the last two home matches and thought - stuff that. But that was Tuesday - I'm a dreamer. Let's have it. So I'm going. See you there x COYB.

Just been watching the weather forecast on BBC1,and there is a good covering of snow down Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas, could the game against Cheltenham be called off again?

Looks very much set up for a 0-0, two left backs etc. One striker.
They simply must turn up today, no excuses.

Quick update. Max Crocombe has just done a lovely breast stroke to get across the penalty area. He'll be planting some spuds at half time.
But the ref's had a look and hasn't called it off.

Just seen some pictures of the penalty area, makes our pitch look like Wembley.

Level at the break. Sounds like a pretty dour game so far.

Level at the break. Sounds like a pretty dour game so far. I think the closest we'll get to a repeat of the 6-5 result is 6 passes on target vs 5.

Risky 1st half sitting back tactics again against a very ordinary team. Does seem like a total waste of 45 mins especially with the fixtures we have coming up. Thoughts are we will change our approach and come out 2nd half and have a real go…. 🤞🏻
