Always enjoy these sort of articles but you really ought to revisit your list of notable players. Not even close!

The description of the food available doesn’t sound very good. Is it really consistently bad?

The description of the food available doesn’t sound very good. Is it really consistently bad? There was a quote on Another View From the Tower ( the Blackpool forum) after the Boxing Day game, that our food is the best in the EFL and I’d say it does rank highly. If you’ve been on the away end at Port Vale you’d probably agree 100% as well.

I’d also add I just hope that Nigel Clough doesn’t read it. Burton Albion relegated to the Northern Premier in 2000/2001 season? Err I don’t think Nigel would like that on his CV!!! Also a thriving Fan Zone takes place on the all weather pitches prior to every game and can’t find anything to do in Burton prior to the match? What with all those pubs?

Hi Mike, Thanks for pointing out the mistake. I have updated it. I’d also like to point out that I didn’t say there was nothing to do in Burton, I said there was very little to do around the ground. In terms of the fanzone, I feel that if this is correct, there needs to be more to point out that this is taking place- feels as if it’s a case of ‘if you know it’s there it’s great.’ Thanks for reading

The Burton supporter said it was really bad, and the disorganisation we experienced only supported this opinion. Had it been a good experience with the food, i of course would have pointed it out

Which I believe many fans from diehard EFL clubs appreciate and food was rated highly in the annual survey of fans earlier this season . Now if you’d been rating us on service and organisation I’d have totally agreed as it’s often total chaos, so much so that I’d never queue or attempt to buy anything at halftime.

As for notable players ,Nigel Clough,Ian Storey Moore ,Kevin Hector all played for Albion admittedly at the end of their careers, but they were still class. And there is quite a few more I could list who are well worth noting.

Fair enough, anyone here remember a certain 6-5 scoreline? I asked a Burton fan yesterday And they said they couldn’t remember. I think they were having me on 😂😂

You don't lose many games from that position! Funniest bit was the interviews with managers afterwards - they were both shellshocked.
