he's left footed but apparently can play on either side. So will be interesting to see if he's here to replace Seddon (who I think has done well) or Caprice (not so well) some short footage of him here, a long time ago www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfrUV5UAEMAplaying in the same England age group team as Niall Ennis, Mason Mount, Reiss Nelson

Left or right, think he strengthens cover in that area and the return of Hamer will also do that

Nice to see young talent being given a chance, look forward to seeing him play, at over 6 foot a good addition to our side, either at full back or wing back.

Mind you, he is 25... bit like Shaughnessy, not played as many games as he might have for the age. Tom Hamer has 238 games at age 24...

A good read, interesting that height seems to be a strategy. Whose been criticising Seddon?

A good read, interesting that height seems to be a strategy. Whose been criticising Seddon? One if not the most improved player over the last few months, I did say he didn't cover himself in glory on Derbys 2nd goal at Pride Park, but he more than redeemed himself with a wonderful goal and then a brilliant pass for young Joe to equalise. Competition for places is a good thing, and you never know what's round the corner with suspensions or injuries.

He did have a very shaky start for the first couple of months, but he has certainly improved of late.
