It is a great and well deserved achievement. Question is, is he now CBR BEM MBE or now just CBR MBE? One for CBH1... Well that’s a bit of a conundrum.........(a Countdown one???!!!) I was hoping as a fellow MBE holder you might know the etiquette more!!! My only experience is my grandfather who was a BEM holder unfortunately.

I was hoping as a fellow MBE holder you might know the etiquette more!!! My only experience is my grandfather who was a BEM holder unfortunately. I know that if you have an MBE and subsequently get a higher grade, i.e. Officer of the Order of the British Empire or Commander of the Order of the British Empire them you don't keep both. But not sure about the BEM status. My guess is that as the BEM is a medal, you get to keep both, so it could well be CBR BEM MBE. I trust the programme editor is researching
