This makes sense given our current injury list. I suspect he is a good role model for the younger ones in the squad too so will be good to have him in the changing room.

A bit like Bucko a old soldier making the last post last, Another professional showing the young lads a good attitude if you want to succeed in the professional game. You can bet even Dyer will be stretching our budget,

I'll never forget him racing down the wing (North stand) to get to a ball that an opposing player had a couple of yards start on and most likely 10 years younger and he skinned him. He was super fit, hope he's not lost it, welcome back Lloyd.

Great to have him back. Undoubtedly he will still be a real asset at this level (and probably could play in the league above too). He has speed, energy, experience, skill, commitment, he can cross the ball and he can finish. I doubt that he will challenge the budget. We wouldn't have brought him in if he did and I dare say that not many clubs are in the market for a 37 year old. Their loss. My favourite Lloyd Dyer moment was probably in this game (link below). It was his celebration, the occasion and the significance of the goal at that point in the game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=H--FF1Yss9M

During the half time warm up I watched Dyer and Sbarra passing to each other. Dyer nearly 20 years older. For someone to be so lean and fit at his age he must be a model pro.
Compare and contrast to the shenanigans going on up the road.

He looked different class on Saturday by the way in the 20 minutes he was on the pitch. He ran their right back ragged and created numerous opportunities. Each time he got the ball it felt like something was going to happen.

Each time he got the ball it felt like something was going to happen. That's the best thing about him, and I think as a last 15-20 minute player he'll smash it for us. The guys a unit. This seasons Kightly, maybe.
