Derby County away - December 2nd.
Well, here it is, Merry December. We'll be on our second chocolate from our advent calendars, and hopefully on our way to watch Burton nail it away from home once again.
Last season, we all know what happened, won at home, drew away.
I feel that Derby are a different beast this season to last.
My hope, and it is merely a hope, is that we bag a cup style victory, and that kick starts us into some form over the Christmas period.
Anyway, I'll be there. Hopefully we take a fairly good following.
Starting XI predictions?
I have absolutely no idea. Really no idea at all. But here's my guess...
Bywater
Flanagan Mcfadzean Turner Naylor
Murphy
Akins Palmer Lund Sbarra
Sordell

Looks like Ipswich have done to Derby tonight exactly what we should be doing. Nick a goal from nowhere and then park the bus for the rest of the game. That would be lovely

And me. They've just lost to Ipswich tonight who didn't look great against us..
So, there's a chance...!

I got the feeling from NC interview that he is out to make another point to the players and the supporters this saturday? So........ Fox is back from Tamworth and I have a suspicion he will be involved against Derby.

I can't see him playing Fox, Sbarra and Miller against Derby. That would be taking things too far.
Whilst blooding youngest is commendable and the future for a club of our size I think we need to be careful how many go into the team in one go especially at this level. It certainly didn't work on Saturday and I would feel much happier with one starting and the other two on the bench and perhaps the one starting being replaced by one of the other two. We also have Lund and Allen who need fully bedding in at some point.
What is Fox's best position anyway? Centre midfield or left side of midfield?

Step it back a little on Saturday ie drop one of Miller or Sbarra and sub them on if needed. I'd be happy with that...

I’d be surprised if we’ve recalled Fox and don’t give him minutes anytime soon. My first thought was that maybe a higher division side had shown interest in him but the way people are talking it very much sounds like we’ve got him back to be involved with the first team squad

As for the game on Saturday I think most are expecting us to get thrashed but if we play like we have done away from home this season there’s no reason why we can’t get a point or all three. Apart from the Leeds game every other away game we’ve played this season we’ve been in with a chance and hopefully our players have had a nice rest whilst the Derby ones were out there tonight

I thought it did work to an extent on Saturday, ultimately not after the youngsters had to be subbed off due to injuries but if they’d only have got their noses in front in the first half it may have been a different story!

This is it ,the big one, Derby fans expecting 3 points anything else would be a meltdown. Looking at the teams, I worry it is the same old story, 27,000 baying voices screaming for Burton to be put in their place, over 30 million pounds worth of talent, let loose on their neighbours, oh a homer for a ref will help, Derby players hurting over McCarthy's Ipswich doing a job on them AGAIN. Rowett knowing how Burton and Clough operate, and of coarse a team of talented footballers put together on minimal wages and a total outlay off 600 thousand for 18 players ,The plus side is our total fan base of 3.000 can be their to support the lads, A wonderful performance last year, and Derby missing some glaring chances, Bent from 2 yrds comes to mind. 4 points from them last year. But this year a bit of Burtons tenacity will be installed into them by Rowett .Who can ever see the Brewers turning them over twice, but a must see game

I entered PP last season a nervous Brewer, I exited a proud Brewer.
I will enter there on Sat a proud Brewer and hopefully exit proud again.
The reason I entered nervous last season, I was sitting in the Derby home end (don't ask) and I opened my gob too much, I managed ok though.

Really looking forward to this one now, a few beers before the game. We have nothing to lose. Lots of positiveness on the official Albion website, Clough hoping we go on a good run. Whatever team he puts out it is another proud day for BAFC watching them step out with Derby onto that pitch, 5 leagues apart less than 20 years ago.

Picked my tickets up today and saw Fadz turner and Buxton coming back in from training alone. Specific practice for a back 3 tomorrow perhaps??

8/1 for the victory...
I'd enjoy chanting 'It's happened again, it's happened again, 1-0 to Burton, it's happened again'

The chances of all 3 of them not playing is nil. I dont think both kyle and bucko will start but ben must play with either kyle or bucko imo
