Before the game, I'd have been happy with a non-humiliating defeat. For obvious reasons, I didn't post that pre-match!
At half time, I couldn't believe it was still 0-0. I kept counting 60 mins. 70 mins. 80 mins. Wow. Then the goal. Never mind.
I saw the blatant "I've been shot" dive (Take me to court, you bloody cheat. I've got the evidence) on the telly later and it just made me angry. Two of their players went down in the box earlier in the game and the ref awarded us a free kick each time. If he'd given them both a yellow card (as he is now supposed to) the 'player' who finally succeeded in conning him possibly wouldn't have tried it on. Maybe. Guess we just have to get used to it.
Barker on? Possibly. Beavon on? Definitely!!!! Miller's getting stronger but Marcus is still one of the boys. We really missed Tom Naylor in midfield yesterday. He was immense at the back but it was definitely boys vs men round the rest of the pitch.
Still proud of my boys / men (oops). Another 11 MOMs.

I thought Nigel was harsh to criticize the defence has he did, ok I agree Brayford shouldn't have lost it so easily and in that position of the pitch, but what the hell did he expect from them, they were under the cosh all the game as our forwards did not have the ability or have a clue to hold the ball up and take the pressure of them. Ward and Hamza were very poor, and as for Ward I thought he had a stinking game, he should have the experience to help the younger players. In my opinion the defence did a great job in keeping them from scoring as long as they did to say how much Brighton had possession in our half and box I think we miss Naylor in midfield and hopefully with having Turner back NC will slot him back into the centre midfield position, we also have O'Grady back to hold the ball up. A great performance by the lads, I felt gutted at the end These players are treated like men,and responsible for actions,Brayford is a seasoned pro,and his mistakes are highlighted, in this league mistakes are punished, and points were lost,Nigel has to talk to the media straight after the match, and will give a honest assessment, praise or blame, and i admire him for it Our forwards 5ft 4 inch against 6 ft plus defenders and multi million pound players, was expected to struggle, our height Ogrady--Akins-and Nalor from midfield, were missing. The team did a fantastic job keeping a talented team at bay,,With hope of a point, raising expectations, the goal was a heartbreaking . The staff and players will be as gutted as any fan,But i am sure will be delighted with efforts ,to frustrate a top club like Brighton

Yes agree with what's already been said. On the positive side Matt Palmer was outstanding and looked strong in possession. They really were Giants at the back, but I have to say I was getting so bored when then kept switching the ball around in defence to move us around! Aaaaaah!! Thought there support was great, and I'd like to think they appreciated us as a club.... There was no jeering or taking the ..ss when the attendance was announced. Probably just releived to get the goal!!

Some nice comments from their visiting fans on their forum. They say that our set up reminds them of them about 10 years ago. I wonder what we will be like in 10 years time. The lads played well yesterday and did us proud. With a bit better luck in the last few games, we could have another 3 points and be in 10th place. A much better start to the season than I had expected. We just need a few more supporters coming through the turnstiles.

Good news we were 4 points from a relegation place, and a loss on sat still leaves us 4 points, from a relegation spot, and the dream is still on. To avoid the drop, and this league can change week to week-----Wolves beat Newcastle away
