Ended up sat on the side with about 200 Burton fans
You lot seemed to have almost filled the away end so plenty must have paid on the day
Just the odd few seats empty that I could see in the away end

A great day, very poor game, but right result. In the fancy dress stakes, I loved the guy dressed as a jar of Marmite Can't believe we are playing Championship football next season, and back to back promotions. Also loved the Albion numbers who turned up and the wall of noise.

How much did they pay Port Fail in a brown paper envelope? Unlucky.

What a brilliant result. Watched on Sky as was at the Etihad - was shaking at times - the fans looked brilliant on telly. Looked like a grand day out.

MOM Hamza Wonder if he fancies a season long loan in Championship? I shook his hand after the match and said 'get yourself back here next season' and he replied "I'll Try"

To those amongst you who supported the club and stuck with the manager through the "blip" earlier in the season, you're the ones who've earned the right to enjoy today and whatever follows. I'm chuffed for Nigel Clough, his staff, the players and everyone behind the scenes that have worked so hard to get here and a special mention to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who was also in charge for a good chunk of the season. Everyone involved in the 46 league games contributed in some way, no matter how big or how small.
Sincerely...congratulations and I hope Burton Albion can continue to upset the apple cart (anyone get hold of any apple juice today???) in the championship.

Let's be honest, it's mental isn't it? After a few liquid refreshments I don't know whether to laugh or cry or go for a heady combination of the 2. If Ian H is reading, can we have 3 Little Birds next season? If Rayvon is reading, I heard your familiar cry today mate. Fantastic.

Will there be a celebratory day at the Pirelli like there was last season when we won League 2?

It's not the words, it's the way they are said. "Said" is probably an understatement. As is "probably".

I think this time a civic reception and open top bus is required. Last year an election got in the way ...

Get yourself back down Spence, it is worth the perseverance x I guarantee Nigel would have been slaughtered had we conceded a late goal today Absolutely slaughtered It was a dangerous ploy to go all out for a clean sheet (which IMO is what we did from the start) We were wasting time from almost the first minute But that seems to have been the plan. He also said in his post match interview he was hoping as well as getting a clean sheet we would nick a goal Thankfully for Nigel it worked because if it hadn't social media surrounding Burton wouldn't have been pretty tonight!! You could see how much it meant to Nigel at the end. We got the job done ugly tonight To be fair if we've got to go to places like Newcastle away and get points we are going to have to play even uglier
