Peterborough get millions from QPR? Nasser sorry to see him leave, but surely £350k is a little on the low side, unless the club decided they needed the cash,to clear there debt very quickly,I hope cloughy is given the go ahead to bring in a couple of new faces on loan or even permanent. Just to bolster the squad another forward and wide player, would be useful in the run in to the end if the season.

Wouldn't any debt of been covered by Jimmy leaving? I'm sure we got a bit for them both.

I think it is low too when you look at what other top players from top League One clubs go for, but we don't know what is in anyones contract (if there is anything) and how much any fee is linked to current salary etc.

Perhaps there's a player nestled in the deal on the way to us?
Wishful thinking.

The club received £150K for JFH, and if the Nasser money is £350 it should balance the books for this season, especially now the gates are a bit up.

Sorry should have been £350K £350K for Jimmy and £350K for Nasser? if that is true then I think we did quite well out of Jimmy using us as a stepping stone. We were never going to keep him, it was always a question of how long, and I think the success and money that he has brought to the club through promotion, media attention and players fees should be applauded. Probably the best signing Ben has made yet!

Check my post again, I said JFH's departure earned us £150K not £350K.

He's 27. Played 40 games. Unproven. Good deal. We will always be a selling club, many are.
