Burton are a fairytale, and its magical, just, not real, all the pundits waiting for the bubble to burst.I Enjoyed frozen, but this is better.and you can watch it from,AUG--to--MAY. Coventry-away--Shrewsbury-home-Peterborough-away,two away games to a top six team, humiliation against the Shrews, to come away with 6 points from the 3 games, keeps our dreams alive,What a performance by the players ,And of coarse the fans who followed them, A small town club, mixing and competing with some household names, with the championship in the distance, and a host of top-top grounds awaiting. Burton Albion fc,What a climax to many years of loyalty by the board, managers, players, and the fans new and old,,It can be said dreams do come true And fairytales are real and not just in books, . What on earth is this

They were getting forward that much that I would suggest that it was more of a 4-1-4-1 as per the last few games. *** *** Based on actually being at the games rather than viewing highlights. of course you would suggest that, you've been signing that (off)tune for awhile. replacing Nasser and Reilly with Akins and Robbie makes a more attacking team than the one that lost to Shrews... I think the reporters were probably there as well...? "Stunning rearguard performances from everyone on the night... " "Tonight was everything Burton Albion have been about for the last few years," said proud boss Nigel Clough. It would be a common remark levelled at Burton (at least from opposition fans with sour grapes) that the result at Peterborough shows that they basically look for an early goal and then put 11 men behind the ball. That, as with much criticism, is perhaps based on some facts, but not all of them. It appears to me (and yes, I am very biased), that our defensive strategy is one of our biggest strengths, but we don't look like a team getting battered by wave after wave of opposition attacks whilst we clear our lines. Our defensive strategy starts at the front with Beavon and is more about pressing, not allowing the opposition the opportunities and most importantly, turning our own possession into quick attacks of our own. After the goal in Peterborough, we had 5 clear goal scoring opportunities and numerous other attacking moves in their area just in the first half. In fact, I would suggest we "battered" them and they (and their supporters) looked like they were expecting to concede 2 or 3 more after the first goal. We didn't give them a sniff all night and Westley the chipmunk was tactically outclassed by Nigel Clough. Brewers!

We set up to win games using the resources available to us, something we've done exceptionally well for the past 4 years at levels progressively higher than many will feel we've got any right to be at. Westley should know all about that. Seeing him all apologetic and red faced in that interview was wonderful. Maybe we should just conform and be the plucky little scamps that turn up and let the MASSIVE club steamroller us and do what they want on the pitch. Nah. F**k it. Let's keep upsetting everyone.

You are getting really desperate now arent you.
I know you are critical of the media because they do not subscribe to your view of the world but Ash's analysis of the game and the stats thereon have nothing to do with a League table compiled by somebody back at the office who was not even at the match.
