Just started a trial with the Brewers would be a cracking signing.

Been a good striker, but have we not been down this road before? mark Robins etc! I must admit to being more than a little bit concerned about our strikers cos it was when Kee went down last season that the season went tits up. Kee absolutely fantastic striker, but is he ever going to be fit, and if he is he'll probably move on to a bigger club. Zola very very injury prone Richards, fantastic for about 6-7 games when he came and injured/shite since. Not moaning by the way guys!! just a little concerned

Got to share Reg's concerns.
Zola due to the amount of work he puts in and tackles he takes, he is bound to pick up injuries.
Richards seems to start off on fire at most of the clubs hes played for then goes missing.
Kee will we ever get a full season out of him.
I do like Adi yussif he gets into good scoring positions but just needs a goal to get his confidence up.
i do hope i am wrong, but i do think signing one more striker as cover would be wise

In my opinion, another striker is a must.

Dele Adebola would be a great striker but he is 37 so he might only have 1 year left. The thing is he might not even have that! We would be better to bring in a younger striker who has experience at this level.

Lets bear in mind he's only on trial. Youl Mawene didn't last despite being famous and all that. Even at 37, he'd be a great option in our team (if he stays injury free). If he signs.
I find it encouraging that this season's trialists are experienced, higher profile, and are actually willing to come as a trialist. Shows the progress of the club's development IMO.
We already have a rather young squad too compared to the last few seasons too. Webster and Corbett are our oldest players I think.

Could be better than what we have though, Kee aside

Could be better than what we have though, Kee aside Richards and Yussuf yes but not Zola. Although he got injured a couple of times it still didn't stop him from getting player of the year.

Looking at his stats he is not prolific scorer, but I imagine his strength lies in holding up, laying off, and generally being a difficult handful to play against. Really I imagine him as excellent cover for Calvin, (becaue he was certainly a menace to the opposition last season), providing he is still fit enough. Zola put in a reasonable number of games last season didn't he? Calvin or Adebola are surely potentially perfect partners for a fit and raring to go Billy Kee.
