They look a struggling team, to be honest it looks like Coventry might sneak a win today, currently 0-0 15mins to go.

I thought Coventry looked the better team to be honest and the officiating was interesting to say the least but, as you say, we're 5 points clear. It's all good.

I have relocated this to the main board for today as it is quite (!?) important. Great result here are the stats..and more importantly the table looks great. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35018952

Hopefully fleetwood do the job in their match vs Walsall.
That'd be sweet!

Well since there's a post on the Blades I couldn't not comment could I since I thought Observer would be desperate for this "so called big club" to lose?! ;-) ?! We were pretty average (as is generally the case) but gave our all and battled for it, which has been missing for much of this season as away teams have out battled us. It shows how far we have to come when we've had to set out like an away team against Coventry, who are decent admittedly. Since Brayford returned we've conceded 1 goal in 3 games! What a difference he makes! Maybe the £10m Clough spent on him is going to be worth it after all! ;-)
I did notice your impressive win! I was always impressed with Andy Garner, who came across as a proper football man to me and a bit of a good cop bad cop combo with Clough. I'm pleased we're not playing you guys till March though! We definitely need some new blood and you appear to be flying right now! Take care and God bless, Booker4 (that's in tribute to Bob Booker if any of your fans remember him from the late 80's). We've got Bobby Booker, He's a dirty fooker, he's 6ft tall, he cost...you get the rest!

I watched the match on TV, thought you struggled throughout the first half to get into the game, well that's how I saw it. Second half better but Coventry seemed to be getting on top mostly, then bang you scored. As it always does to teams it sparked some fire and determination into the side, sometimes the Brewers need that, odd matches. McEveley lucky to stay on the pitch, that tackle, another ref he would have walked. Hope all goes well for the rest of the season, except against us that is.

What do you think of him?

What do you think of him? Not much too be honest. He has pace but isn't the sharpest tool in the box. To put it another way, he's probably on a par with Jose Baxter! I remember McFadzean been on loan at the Brewers and our fans had hoped he would kick on. Ironically when Clough arrived he never played again for us, but to be honest he wasn't pulling up any trees before Clough either. We have about 15 pro's out of contract at the end of the season and he's one of them. He's almost certain to be released. Currently on loan at Stevenage. I read the Coventry match report. Makes it sweeter when you know you've been lucky!

Well, we have been unlucky in a couple of our results so if we/Coventry were a bit lucky today then do they call that swings and roundabouts or something.? Re: Callum, just wondered what Blades fans thought of him. Gaz brought him in on loan, we'd needed left-sided support, and for his age he was ok at L2 support level for me. He broke a metatarsal and that was it.

Would have been happy with draw today.
Don't want Sheff Utd going on a winning run and getting in the mix

We can beat anyone in this league IMO Yep, Gills were 8W 2D at home before yesterday and we spanked them! The boys are fit, well trained, organised and play hard for each other. Jimmy left us in excellent shape and position, just need to keep the positive attitude and momentum going. I don't believe that we are punching above our weight! And we can get,and are getting, better!

Booker4 . I could write a book about the positives of clough, but would be wasted on you .Sheff Utd ,only 4 points of playoffs ,would be a miracle if they failed The playoffs, Looking forward to Herbert--Tomy tony, joining you here explaining how div 1 and a club in crisis ,with so many experts on board, can help a poor country team.Round here ,We respect the managers, and allow them time to do their jobs.To lose a manager around here is a time of reflection,, Not joy like in Sheffield, 8 in 8 years is a disgrace to professional football ,Most of your fans are great ,And with the squad at your disposal i,expect promotion for you .Meanwhile Burton can enjoy their fame ,and their journey in div 1
