Another poll. Interested to see what people would be happy with under Clough this year.

Playoffs
Once you are in them it's a lottery though but just finishing top 6 would be great for the club
With just two going up automatically then automatic is really hard

I agree. Jimmy has continued a winning mentality in the club left over from Rowett.
I think if jimmy had stayed we'd have got play offs at least... So that's what I'm hoping for!
The little town in the Midlands in the championship would be so good.

(I didn't vote as you should have an option for Playoffs, not win or lose IMO). If we don't make the playoffs I will not see it as a successful 5 months for this season. We're 44% through the season, and Jimmy left us Top of The Table and 10 points ahead of 7th place. We have to make the playoffs.

Considered it but wanted a distinction between promotion and league one.
I agree that we should make play offs.
Also really need us to so I don't miss the season finale... Work sending me to the USA and I return the Friday before Doncaster away!

A no vote from me, play offs and any outcome is where my vote would go, its too much of a lottery, mind you Nigel has experience of them last season.

That also means you should vote playoffs and lose as a success Hope that makes sense I didn't start the poll. I didn't like voting playoffs and lose but that vote shows that playoffs is your minimum expectation

I voted top 10 because that covers Automatic promotion, playoffs win or lose and a top 10 finish.

Interested to hear from the 2 people who think finishing outside the top 10 will be an achievement for Clough?

Interested to hear from the 2 people who think finishing outside the top 10 will be an achievement for Clough? I think one of them was probably me El Khayati - and whether it is Nigel, Jimmy, Gary Rowett or any one else to pilot a club with the lowest budget in the Division and gates based on home support of around 2,500 - anything above the relegation zone is an absolute triumph. It would keep us at our highest level ever for at least another season. Which is being very realistic.

Fair comment mate - I'm not sure Clough would be happy with that though The gates don't matter too much - but the low budget does. Money talks in football. I say after watching a team worth £1.7m beat £250m worth of players today.....!

At the start of the season i was happy with just staying in the league but if we can stay in the top ten in our first season it will still be a huge achievement
