I think it was a piss poor attempt to satirize all the speculation surrounding the club at the minute, chaps. "Another manager gone...I bet the idiots will link him with this one as well" and so and and so forth and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
...and to think I've been dragged over the coals by him in the past for going off topic...

Uh-Oh.....!!! Colchester have sacked their manager, Tony Humes Well out of the 2 sides I would have guessed we would be the team without a manager on Saturday ! A week in football is a long time.

This speculation has gone quiet hasn't it...
Wonder what's going on! Perhaps he will stay until Milwall game...? Would be harsh to leave us before sat!

This could have positive or negative effect on the players, it could be a spark to get them playing to keep, or get, a place in the team or it could be disruptive. Let's hope it's the latter and we get a few goals.

Could it be possible that jimmy applied for QPR instead of them approaching us? Is this why there has been no approach? Just a thought as im not fully aware of how contracts for a manager would work.

More speculation...? Or satire...? If it happens they will have their ex-Burton manager...

Really really hope this is true.
I also like to think that if it is true, Jimmy told them he wanted to finish the job here. Which I'd have huge respect for.

Looks like the bookies have closed all the markets on next QPR manager odds. Thank f**k for that.
I'd certainly hope he did tell QPR he wanted to finish the job here but to be fair they never had contact. Well...not "officially" anyway. This is football, remember...
Takes the focus off the club for all the wrong reasons and lets us get on with the football. Absolutely marvellous. Really looking forward to tomorrow now. COYB!!!

Wow unbelievable. Lets hope this is true. I take it all back. Just maybe there is still some loyalty left in football.

Ex Brewers Neil Warnock to the rescue ! Well in a round about way ! Brilliant news for us. There did seem some opposition down at Loftus road due to the fact some thought Hasselbaink was too inexperienced for the job. In reply to keggy I would think it extremely unlikely Jimmy has applied for the job.

Does this mean JFH can now distance himself from the job?
Lol
Great news but I think it's a case of QPR deciding to stick with Warnock rather than JFH turn down an approach
Need Rowett to take the Fulham job now

But if Rowett takes the Fulham job... Who then takes the Birmingham job?
We are on the merry-go-round!

JFH to hold talks with QPR next week when owner is in London. West London paper talk if you ask me, they are just guessing, reading other articles from that rag they have scant disregard for anything north of Watford.

But if Rowett takes the Fulham job... Who then takes the Birmingham job? We are on the merry-go-round! Nigel Clough, all sorted. Looking at the league and prem managers merry go round, Arsene Wenger wins hands down for the longest reign, next Paul Tisdale at Exeter roughly 9yrs. The rest, well very few have served 3, 4, maybe 5 years but on average it looks pretty sad reading at maybe 2 years is the going rate.

So looks like QPR may have been JFH's Blackpool... I wonder who'll be his Birmingham and whether there be an Oxford in between?

I hope it's not a deal lined up for end of season like Newcastle did with Mclaren and Warnock just does interim job We all know how that turned out
