Says a lot about the progress of BAFC when an international goal scorer can't get a start for the club.

Pleased to see he scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for Luxembourg against Greece tonight. Good news tm, that should boost his confidence and push him on to work even harder to get a start for the Brewers! Speaking of strikers, I went for a couple with a mate tonight. The landlord said there us an Albion player in the other room with his father, visiting from Germany. Went in and sat with Timmy, his partner and his father for a bit. I lived in Germany for 6 years in the 70's so they were interested in that and Timmy and partner said they like it here (though very different than Berlin) and his dad seemed pleased that I knew and supported his son. Timmy seems like a very nice lad. I asked him about Phil and he said his ankle had been huge after the tackle but no breaks and that he trained today (not with the squad) for the first time.

I know it was only a friendly but that's a cracking result for Luxembourg, well done Aurelien, confidence high perhaps he will carry that through to the Bury game!!

I don't think he is far away from a start and i reckon he will do well given the chance.
