The return fixture at The Den on Easter Monday is on an international weekend as well so just a "heads up" for anyone thinking about spending a few days down there at Easter.

This means our players will have 2 weeks off? Could be a good rest for them all!

BURTON Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants to see League One and League Two join the Championship and Premier League in not playing on international weekends after the Brewers' match with Millwall a week on Saturday was postponed. "You can look at it in two ways – you can see it as a rest or as a case of us doing well and wanting to keep on going," said Hasselbaink. "I've got one of my main players, who has done magnificently well until now, suspended for three matches and now he was to wait a little bit longer to get back. But if you look at it from a chairmans point of view, it may mean we get more fans through the turnstiles. With less matches to attend we may get a few from Prem/Championship clubs. I know it does happen as I have mates who support Derby and Forest who pitch up at the Pirelli on a blank Sat for them.

They can easily lead to match congestion further down the line. One on its own here and there can be coped with, but for instance if we were lucky enough to get a cup run, we could face replays, and if bad whether causes postponements, we could soon have difficulties. A few seasons ago we had all sorts of difficulties due to this under Pesch, as most of us will remember. I have already looked at local games to attend myself on that day to only to find Mickleover, Gresley, and Alfreton are all away on that day.

Probably just as well todays game is off ,with all this rain it wouldn't have done the pitch much good by the end .

Just the 3 Funky. I think that's the threshold for cancellation too.

Anyone else starting to suffer from withdrawal symptoms?! I've just played the Pirahas followed by Depeche Mode in a pathetic attempt to recreate the Pirelli experience in my front room.

Definitely! I thought about writing a script of phrases like "Here we go again, our strikers are ******* useless!" etc and asking the wife to pick one and shout it out in an aggressive manner every few minutes, but I fear my mention of 'role play' might not be too well received!!!

I even watched Adam Mcgurk's team v Wimbledon today, hoping he might score after his FA cup goals. Switched over at HT, seen enough, F1 was uneventful too. Yes pretty dull weekend, roll on the 28th.
