Got a lot of time for Crewe Alex. One of very few clubs that has never treated us with comtempt since we got into the football league and started upsetting the applecart. Hopefully we'll also get to welcome Lee Bell back to the Pirelli as he's now in joint charge of their under 18 side with Kenny Lunt. Would be great to see him there tomorrow night.
As I've said in the Fleetwood thread I think we'll have enough to beat them despite our recent blip. Not sure what happened to Zeli on Saturday and there's been no news about him but would love to see him involved in some capacity tomorrow night. Reilly and Charles can't be far away from a return/debut so it might do us a bit of good just to change it up a little bit. I've also seen a few comments suggesting Beavon playing in the no.10 role behind Joachim or Thiele. I wonder if Jimmy's tempted?
Brewers 2-0 The Alex. Obviously I want a win tomorrow night but I also hope Crewe stay up. Gresty Road is one of my favourite away days.

Zeli was left out of the side on Saturday - nothing more than that. Wasn't at this morning's press conference as I have Mondays off but seems to have been with rotation in mind with three games in a week.

I feared the worst when his name wasn't mentioned at all on Saturday but it's perfectly understandable Jimmy wrapping him in cotton wool. A totally match fit Zeli would walk into any team in this league. I'm still hopeful that we'll see a lot more of him this season.

If you consider his injury and the fact he played 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek I don't think its any surprise he wasn't involved on Saturday. Well that was my first thought and hopefully that's all it is. They may be bottom of the league but there are no easy games in league one. Crewe are also struggling for goals. Personally I would like to see Naylor and Joachim start in a slightly revised line up something akin to the team Peacock has posted. Not expecting a big crowd with us having Vale at home Saturday or many from Crewe due to there dire start to the season.

That's a good shout, I would go along with that, I prefer Naylor in the middle he is a bit more creative than Butcher.

I think we will get back to winning ways. Saturday's result would of shocked the dressing room and Hasselbaink will of picked them back up and we will come out all guns blazing tonight. 3-0 tonight

I do though expect a strong reaction tonight, and I hope we can just win it.

That result is poor. Especially given the following:
Home/Away:
Shots: 24/5 On Target: 7/1 Corners: 8/4
Come on Burton....!

If Beavon is fit for Saturday I think we need to start Joachim up front with him

I really don't think Timmy Mallett is up to the standard required in league One personally, we played quite well but not enough bite up front. We have steadied the ship again at the back and kept our shape and discipline but just can't buy a goal at the moment.
