Due to holidays this will be my 1st home league game of the season and what a cracker. X2 teams starting the season well and must be heading towards a full house. After the smash and grab last week I really hope our attacking options turn up. Our passing to the forwards was all over the place and nothing clicked all game bar the 90th minute when it counts. At least the defence turned up, but would prefer Naylor in the centre of the park, really missed his energy there. As for Cov, can't say I'm sorry they are without Armstrong for this game, will be interesting to see if they play the new forward signings.
This is the first of the L1 games with a big away following. Could say a dress rehearsal for the Blades visit on the 29th night game ( should be a cracking atmosphere also under the floodlights). I really hope the stewards get on top of sorting out the away end so all the the Cov fans get to see the whole game. Hopefully the fans have been informed to get to the ground in plenty of time to ensure they get a spot. It's going to be old school and tight on the terraces.

Jesus you should go into management with talk like that.....are you fergie in disguise Lol...Burton are a good team but I do not think they are good enough to tame the lion. Brewers 0-3 Young Lions I think we'll be tied in GD after this one.

ROBBIE Weir believes Burton Albion can go up an extra gear or two yet. The Brewers have made a flying start to life in League One and are third in the table with four wins from their first five games before this weekend. They host Coventry City at the Pirelli Stadium tomorrow (2.30pm kick-off) in front of the Sky Sports cameras looking to extend that record to five from six. Seven goals have been scored and four have been conceded, while the Brewers have also kept clean sheets in their last two games – both away from home at Shrewsbury Town and Doncaster Rovers in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Coventry and Southend drew on Monday so we are alone in 3rd, one goal away from being even with The Blades in 2nd. Blades vs Colchester is postponed on Sat so on Sunday evening we have a chance to be in 1st place with a win and a Walsall draw or loss. Walsall lost today so with a win we will be in first place!

I don't think even the most fervent and optimistic of us could have expected that in our 6th game in League one, a win could take us top of the league ! A win tomorrow and its season on, we may even awaken the locals as to what's going on down at the Pirelli stadium !

It's match day.
Hopefully the result/performance will end the smack talking...
2-1 to Burton and a red card to Coventry like all our home games this season...?

Half time score is 1-1 all tied up. Coventry has had the better of the game so far in a small way. Tough game going to be close either way.

Not sure if you're watching Texas it's very even.
33% of the ball has been in Coventry final 3rd with only 15% in Burtons.
This will be a vey very close game

Ffs 1-2
The officials have robbed us as Vincelot was a mile offside.
Unbelievable decision. Should have been offside
