Been training with us. Any thoughts? It sounds like he's a 'cover' player for Maynard being out. I really know very little about him. Is he worth getting excited about?

Played at a decent level in his time with Arsenal and Sunderland I think. He was in one of my Football Manager Brewers Teams when I used to cheat at that.

Article from Nov 2014
JUSTIN Hoyte has been told to find he can find a new club by Millwall boss Ian Holloway.
The right back has made just seven appearances since joining the Lions last November.
Hoyte was challenged to improve his fitness levels in the summer after failing to get into Holloway's squad during the second half of last season.
He briefly returned to the fold in September, coming on as a sub at Huddersfield before starting the following game against Birmingham, but has not been involved since.
The 29-year-old, who recently returned from international duty with Trinidad Tobago, is still training with the club but has been made available for transfer.
Holloway feels that the defender is not a good match for Millwall, and vice versa, so will help him to secure a move elsewhere.
"I have told Hoytey he can go – I don't think that this club is right for him," Holloway told the Southwark News.
"I really feel for him because he has worked hard for me and done everything that I have asked of him, but I don't think this club is a good fit for him.
"We shouldn't waste his time or mine. I want him to get a club and we'll do what we can for him to get him fixed up.
"I feel that he signed for the wrong club, having come from Arsenal and Middlesbrough – he hasn't connected with the crowd and that’s not his fault.
"It is harsh but both parties have to move on. If we get another injury at right back, I am prepared to promote Josh Siafa from my U21s."

And this was from when Milwall signed him Jan 2014.
(He's 30 years old now but when he was 23 he was sold for 3m by Arsenal)
The 29 year-old initially joined the Lions on loan on November 5 and has since started four Championship games for the London club as well as making one appearance from the substitutes' bench.
Hoyte was due to return to The Riverside this month but he has now signed a contract with Millwall which ties him to the club until the end of next season.
Middlesbrough signed Hoyte from Arsenal, where he started his career as a trainee, for £3m in August 2008.

oneboro.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=5093Above is a link with a discussion by Boro fans about him 2 years ago Pace to burn, most seem to like him, one of them thinks he doesn't have a football brain and doesn't get forward enough but others disagree If he's out of contract and fit with his pedigree he would definitely be a good backup at the very least

Funny ole game. Holloway says Hoytey can go in Nov and is prepared to call up Josh Siafa. Then Holloway gets sacked and new manager Neil Harris releases both Hoytey and Siafa in May? Seemed to be a problem with some fans....
Anyway, Jimmy says he is here to train and get fit and then see what happens. If he does get into game shape I think JHF will take a chance on him as he can provide cover for both fullbacks, and Jimmy, the Pirelli and St. Georges might be more to his liking...

"We don't know yet (about Hoyte). It will be a hard one. "We had Kelvin Maynard who got injured for the rest of this season, so do we get another right-back in to cover and compete with Phil? Or do we do it in-house? "To have Justin training allows us to have a look at him. It is interesting to have someone come in with those characteristics. "He wants to come in and wants to play football, and it's possible."
