Depends on what level of cup competitions you go down to?
I would say there are only 2 teams that we've never actually played - Millwall and Blackpool.
We've played Barnsley, Colchester United, Oldham Athletic and Peterborough United in the FA Cup.
Sheffield United (also JPT) & Wigan Athletic in the League Cup.
Coventry City and Doncaster Rovers (also in Conference)in the JPT
Walsall in the Birmingham Senior Cup
Crewe, Gillingham, Rochdale, Fleetwood, Swindon, Scunthorpe, Shrewsbury, Bury, Southend, Bradford, Chesterfield and Port Vale all in League 2

I went to the Walsall Birmingham Senior Cup match. I was at the time quite impressed to be watching Burton Albion in what looked at the time to be a great big stadium (albeit very empty and against Walsall's youth team probably).

I said league games, league cup, and FA cup. The five are Colchester, Coventry, Millwall, Blackpool, and Walsll. However, I hadn't realised we had played Colcheser in the FA cup. Therefore the answer seems to be 4. Apologies for that mistake.

Blackpool have actually visited Burton before to play at Peel Croft against Burton Swifts, first time in 1896/97 which ended 2-2. The same season they also visited the Derby Turn ground and were defeated by Burton Wanderers 3-1. You can't beat a bit of history and we have one to be proud of I think in Burton.

Here is a football brain teaser (not Burton related) Which professional footballer has won the World Cup, a Lonsdale Belt (Boxing) and played for Celtic. I believe Bobby Charlton Captained England to win the world cup, bought Henry Coopers Lonsdale Belt in an auction and probably played for Celtic in a Testimonial match!
