As has been said, a good run out for the lads.
I've got to say I think our midfield options are probably the best we've ever had (might start a thread on this) and with O'Connor and Charles being added to the squad we're pretty well stocked at the back as well.
Claymillman mentioned Robbie Weir. I think he just gets better every time I see him play and he's twice the player we signed 3 years ago. Is it me or does he look like he's bulked up a bit? I mean that in a good way...I'm not saying he should lay off the pies, I'm saying I reckon he's got a bit more muscle on him. He looks a bit more of a physical presence and I've also noticed he's sticking his foot in and irritating the opposition a bit more. All good stuff.

He had a very good game and I agree the squad looks very strong. I think Jimmy is right it is now up front where we need more options.

I appreciate we've got players who "can play" up top and in the two pre season games I've seen so far it's looked like we've been playing with one out and out striker and one just behind him but I do think we need someone who will comfortably get into double figures this season. Unfortunately players like that are at an absolute premium...could we be lucky enough to unearth another "Nasser" to play up front?

Thiele, Reilly and SCS all have slight muscle strains but 'should' be ok for Sat. Barring any setbacks in training.
