I believe it was the first time since Jimmy arrived that anyone has scored two against us. Shame to lose that marvellous record on the last day of the season but guess it added to the drama. What a day!!

What a sight to see all those coaches from the Albion, Beech and Beacon on a police escort to the stadium ! Great atmosphere in the stadium which was worth waiting for after trekking across the park. Football wise we got on top early and an excellent header from Beavon for 1-0. A bit of sloppy defending from a corner and from their only real chance Elliott made it 1-1. We were much the better side 1st half with Naylor pulling the strings in midfield but had to settle for going in level. 2nd half Camsdell Sherriff was replaced by Taft after being assaulted just prior to the interval, we gradually lost our way and gave too much space to them and a penalty was awarded against us and McLaughlin sent off. Weir went off and Scott Shearer came on in goal for his debut, he tried in vain to stop the penalty but it went in and things looked bleak for the Albion. Stewart replaced McGurk and the Brewers just upped their game and went for it, in fact you would never have known we had 10 men. Cue Phil Edwards for a monstrous strike from 25/30 yards out into the top corner and a bit of El Khayati magic to set up Stewart for a calm finish and spark wild celebrations ! This squad has character in abundance and no little ability. A wonderful day for all Albion fans and congratulations to all from Ben down to Rocky the kit man. My greatest memory in all my years following the club ! Can't put it better terraceman, so I won't try, just ditto for me! Unfortunately we missed the stream of coaches arriving as we went by car but other than that...what a day!

Still speechless. There's nothing worse than fans getting teary at football, but unfortunately a bit of dirt must have got blown in to my eyes causing them to get a bit watery. Just a quick mention, some of you on the coaches may have seen him. As we went with the police escort there was a Cambridge supporter, about 70 years old I would guess, on the roadside, on his own applauding all the coaches as they went past. They aren't a club I like, but what a great gesture. Great gesture indeed...I was very suprised that so many of their supporters actually stayed at the end and even applauded as we celebrated, so I suppose they're not all bad after all? I must admit to feeling rather smug when the Edward's thunderbolt went in, as I think Dunk made rather a meal of going down in our box? Then when Stewart tapped in the winner from yet another El Khayati dance and shimmy around their full back, whom he made look foolish all afternoon, then I did feel we'd rather rubbed their noses in it quite nicely! Never say die attitude...you can't beat it and far better than a straight forward 2-0 win.

The coach convoy was incredible. The police closed roundabouts, stopped traffic left, right and centre. Locals must have wondered who was in town!

Just woke up with one hell of an hangover and a croaky throat What a day, Fantastic. Agree with everything said Above. The best footballing day of all time. A massive thanks to everyone involved with the club, 48 years ago at my 1st match never in my wildest dreams would I have thought we would realise such dizzy heights. AMAZING.
One thing that will stick with me forever is the young lads beaming face when Phil gave him his shirt, at the time he was the happiest young man in the world. What a day.
COYB CHAMPIONS.

That lad was just to the right of where I was standing. Bloody hell, I had a lump in my throat when we were all singing about being champions but I was almost welling up when I saw the look on that kids face! Not afraid to admit it

Amazing day think it fully converted the Villa fan I went with, seemed an endless line of coaches on the way back! we made the mistake of not leaving enough time to move the car from the shopping centre so it cost us £26 for parking for 6 hours! Worth every penny tho.

What a great day and achievement by the club. The resolve and quality within the team was galvanised in fantastic fashion in the last 25 minutes or so of the game. The player who epitomised that was Phil Edwards with his determination and eagerness to demand the free kick pass, move forward with it and score the goal of the season, exactly when it was needed. The team never looked a man down, and the magic of Nasser's twinkle toes made a deserved winner. Fantastic lads, and thank you

We had a bit of a dodgy spell in the 2nd half (the defensive substitution seemed to knock us back) and sometimes it needs somebody to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and to take the others with them (to mix metaphors), Phil did this. My exact reaction at the time was something like, "go on Phil, don't shoot from there, it's going wide, YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!" or thereabouts.

It was just a fabulous day out. Fabulous to see all of the coaches, incredible to see the massed ranks of the Albion fans in the away end and then a thrilling match with more twists and turns than a little. After 49 seasons as a fan, I have hardly dared think or talk about promotion or over recent weeks the championship and even yesterday I didn't want to count any chickens prematurely - this is Burton Albion after all. But that's what I'd pick out as one of the things Jimmy has given us - a never say die spirit and undeniable will to win and that carried us across the line yesterday as worthy champions. Something that has hardly happened in our history so far. And I believe it will be a new style Burton Albion lining up in League 1 next season. We have now come of age.

The day started at 10:30am in the Pirelli Stadium parking lot. The bus bus convoy and police escort were a great part, not as exciting as the Luton police escort though Walking across 3 fields, one with a cow escort, was a bit funny. The atmosphere, costumes, songs and noise at the ground was fantastic. The match itself was excellent, 4 fantastic goals and a pen. Stuart Beavons header, Tom Elliots header, Phil Edwards belter and Kevin Stewarts winner! It was all us until Cambridge scored their first. The sending off, and peno giving them the lead, lead to a session of nail biting, 2-1 down with 10 men... Then it happened, Phils screamer sent us into a frenzy!!! Goal of the season without a doubt! Nasser did his thing again and skinned 3 of their defenders, put the ball into box, a deflection to Stewart and Voila!!! We Are The Champions!!!! After the final whistle madness ensued for 45 minutes. What a great, great feeling! Still buzzin'!!! A far too slow bus ride back and off to the pub. Home at 12:30am. WHAT A DAY!!!! Massive Thank You to Ben Robinson, Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink and David Oldfield and all of the supporting staff. And of course to everyone of the players!! Thank You!!

Nasser really embarrassed their defender with that last goal.
We were on one of the last coaches in and when we got to the back of the huge queue (next to the cows) were told to bypass the queue as we had terrace tickets where there was no queue
So apologies to those who were thinking we were pushing in when we just walked past the queue
Did anyone get breathalysed?

Who is the younger guy in the suit who was on the pitch at the end and celebrating with the players and fans?

5 points clear of second
10 points clear of fourth
When people look at the table in the future they will think it was so easy
But that's taken a huge amount of hard work, bottle and professionalism
Incredible effort
They should all be very proud of what they have done as a group
