It's a good position to be in
I thought Lenihan was superb in holding role for us V Wycombe - obviously the partnership and set up with Palmer worked very well
Having the pair of them look great together was like a breath of fresh air really and like two new quality signings in centre mid in many ways
Meanwhile Mousinho took the captains armband and filled in at centre back
But that's not his natural position and we will have Sharps looking to come back into the team of course at centre back
Hard to change a winning combination in midfield but it's also hard to decide what to do with Mousinho and Sharps
We look to have strength in depth all of a sudden in midfield and at the back
Especially with Taft now fit again
I would like to see us get Lenihan on a season long loan if we can - if we do we have numerous options all of a sudden - which is of course what any club targetting promotion needs

Sadly one or two decisions may be made for Jimmy on Saturday, as a colleague of mine saw both Lucas Akins and Ian Sharpes at Burton Queens Hospital yesterday and unfortunately they weren't just visiting.
Lucas was on crutches so don't know whether it was precautionary or more serious?

It was in the paper that sharps was going for a scan on his foot, seems it hasn't healed since his collision with Deano. Lucas is more of a worry though, he was subbed at Wycombe after a cruncher. Crutches doesn't sound good....hopefully precautionary as you say.

Agree with Peacock, best thing may be to make no unforced changes and keep a settled side. Would start Lenihan and Palmer again in midfield, with Blyth coming in for Akins and maybe McGurk on the right.

I'd guess you're probably spot on with those changes, although I thought McGurk was again the weak link at Wycombe? We looked far better when Blyth replaced him but I suppose it's needs must in a crisis. Marcus Harness could be an option but he's still relatively inexperienced and Luton will be a tough test?

Hoping Lucas will be ok, but it doesn't seem likely if he's on crutches. even if it is precautionary there is something wrong. If Lucas cannot play I think the only change might be to start Weir on the right, and again bring Blyth on (edit: for Gurks) as a late sub. Guessing...

Didn't Beavon go wide right and Blyth striker when Akins got injured
That could work

No Gurks went to right mid when Blyth came on, and was later replaced by Robbie.
