Seems odd that Sam Baldock is talking about the game when he is cup-tied! He played for Bristol City against Oxford in Round 1. Also will be interesting to see what side the Seagulls play. With the game being moved to a Wednesday they have less time to prepare for a trip to top of the table Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Do they play travel home, travel back or stay up in the Midlands?

I'm waiting for an announcement about tickets for this match, I know we've been told they can be bought at the ticket office. I went over to collect my tickets for the last round only to turn up at the QPR game and it was pay on the gate in the end, ticket holders queued to get in, pay at the turnstile more or less straight in. I'm guessing it will be a similar this time, may even be a lower attendance than the last round.

Finally a game I can get to! Work commitments have kept me away recently, really looking forward to this game. Ok, we've had a couple of ropey results, but the lads will battle all the way

You would do well to guess Brightons team for wednesdays game Hyypia has rotated the squad for every game so far this season , we are creating shed loads of chances but nobody wants to put the ball in the net , Dunk our CB is joint top scorer this season with 3 goals , so that kind of tells you we are short of a decent striker .
Possible Team .
Walton Calderon Hughes Greer Chicksen McCourt Ince Holla Lualua Texiera CMS Subs Ankergren Crofts Bruno Calunga Gardner Bennet Dunk

If we're going to pull off another upset tomorrow night then the pot of gold really does have to be at the end of this particular rainbow. As fantastic as our cup run has been so far with two very memorable nights at the Pirelli, I'd take a wild guess that we haven't made a great amount of money from it so far. With tomorrow night's attendance likely to be around 2000 I'd suggest that the league cup is now more of an inconvenience more than anything else, especially with the injuries we have.
Would fully expect a mix of youth and first team regulars and wouldn't see any harm in giving the likes of Slade and Doyle their first starts along with possibly chucking Blyth and Knowles in up front.
I predicted a narrow defeat before the QPR game (how wrong was I) and I'll go for the same tomorrow night with Mackail-Smith getting the winner. He loves playing us.
Just please please please no more injuries.

I would be very surprised if we play anything like a reserve side, we have just lost two league games and conceded 3 in each, a further stuffing is not what we need. I think it will be a full strength team with a couple of exceptions (Beavon and SCS). If the 3 who failed fitness tests on Saturday are fit, I expect them all to play. The reward can be massive, last 16 and the lowest team left in the competition (probably) any half decent drawer should see us on TV, and imagine getting drawn against Arsenal, a full Emirates at £10 a head - £600k to share out between the teams…

Shame about the last sentence, after tonight the trip to the Emirates will have to wait!

Yes that was a bit unfortunate, we'll have to do them in the FA Cup 3rd round :-) There's still the chance of a trip to Anfield - Liverpool just having won a penalty shoot-out competition to get into the next round - beating Middlesbrough 14-13 (even exceeded our shoot-out against Coventry - what was that 11 v 10?)

Or the Rams, there are still some good 'money' ties in there, or, forget the money, let's keep the special nights at the Pirelli coming. A reserve side at home against a Championship team??? Not for me!

If you've not already got your ticket you can pay at the turnstile tonight, no need to buy a ticket beforehand. That's if you're on the terrace, seated still need to buy a ticket. I gave the club a ring this morning to confirm.

This typo I think he refers to.
"The visitors have lost back-to-back league games but are still second in League Two and have already beaten Premier League QPR and Championship side Wigan in the Capital One Cup this season."
