If we'd turned up and not played defensive football in the crunch games against Carlisle, Vale & Cheltenham, we wouldn't have a worry in the world about tonights game.
All we can hope is that the Fleetwood lot have downed tools themselves (like Peterborough tonight) going into the last game, and at the same time hope Stevenage haven't.

This is a really good game,I never knew league one football was this good. This just goes to show how poor we are as a football team.On this performance I can see Cheltenham beating Stevenage on Saturday.

I wonder how friendly Ben is with the Stevenage & Fleetwood chairmen. Maybe offer to bring a full strength side up to Fleetwood next pre-season...

Wouldn’t all teams have had liked the opportunity to play this Peterborough team - absolute disgrace they can get away with this when Cheltenham can postpone a game when they have a couple of players on international duty!!!

Wouldnt say that Cheltenham have been that good. The two goals were down to very naive amateurish defending from an inexperienced Posh back line.

Full time, Cheltenham win 2-0.
It's all up to us now. No hiding, no reliance on anyone else. We got ourselves into this mess, we get ourselves out of it. Simple.

Agree totally, We didn’t beat Carlisle, Exeter, Vale, Cheltenham…… Think DF didn’t want to be the one to relegate them tonight and decided to let us both fight for it on Saturday. Shouldn’t be in this situation as the urgency should have been there in the above games imo. Win Saturday and we deserve to stay up, simple! Should MP be in charge next season? I’ll stick with my thoughts after the Carlisle game at home….. 🤞🏻

Our only shining light is that Cheltenham have to win.
We need to go into the Fleetwood game looking for 3 points even though 0 could be enough. Set up the same way as they started against Reading, because if we set up with 5 at the back and Cheltenham score early...

It’s not just between us and Cheltenham, Cambridge or Shrewsbury could also be in the relegation spots come 2:30 on Saturday

Apologies for my bad maths, meant to say that Cambridge and/or Shrewsbury could be below us.

Absolutely fuming to be honest and I think some of us are missing the point here. Unless i've missed something then every single league one game that has been contested since the league started in August involving the 24 teams will have seen each clubs strongest available eleven playing against each other. Yes there will have been injuries and suspensions and the odd player being rested along the way by in the main games have taken place between clubs strongest available elevens. That is until tonight. For me Peterborough's actions have cast a cloud over the integrity of the competition.
I understand the comments about who we haven't beat and what we have and haven't done but so far we have 46 points from 45 games played against teams best available elevens. Cheltenham had 41 points from 44 games played against other clubs best available elevens. Their 45th game tonight has seen them as good as handed 3 points by Peterborough with that team selection. We will never know what the result might have been if they had gone full strength and we are now in a very precarious position.
This is bad form from Ferguson and I hope that the EFL take some form of action just to make a point. It won't help us in the here and now but may make teams think twice about doing this in the future. If they were playing a team with nothing to play for then fair enough but they weren't and their actions could have catastrophic effects for us and maybe Cambridge(who are playing a Vale team who are just a weakened team full stop). I know you can say they've earned the right to do this that and the other and it's still in our hands blah blah blah but for me this is disgraceful behaviour. Hope the coach breaks down on the way back.

9 of the 12 league 1 games have something riding on them this Saturday. Let's just hope we get the win to secure our league 1 status. Whoever goes down deserves it, it's 46 games not 1. I wonder if we'll have JB or Tom Hamer back? Sounds like Joe Powell won't be fit?
