Garratt, Brayford, Bostwick, Shaughnessy, Hamer, CBT, Lakin, Powell, Akins, Smith, Hemmings Subs - Balcombe, Morris, Patrick, Blake-Tracy, Amadi-Holloway, Taylor, Chapman So Bostwick, Hemmings and Lakin all come into the team. Leak misses out altogether. Not sure how Taylor is with us as Wales U21’s are away in Bulgaria tomorrow and he’s the captain. I think Terry was named in the original squad but then had to go into isolation so was left out of the squad and didnt meet up with the Wales squad. Was on the bench against MK Dons in the EFL Trophy last week too. Thanks for clearing that up. Thought it was a bit strange.

At the minute I'd take a 0-0 as we're as flat as a pancake. Having a slow back four is pinning us back in our own half.

Nice 5 minute spell at the end of the first half, need to pick it up in the second and create a chance or two. You never know.

It's all very... ahem... direct, isn't it?! Not particularly pretty to watch, but reasonably effective so far.

Brayford sent off. The ref has unfortunately been rather one sided, as you'd expect at a big away ground.
Just try and hold out now.
I have to add though, defending for near on 90 minutes isn't fun.

I've got to say I didn't enjoy much of that game and whilst delighted with a point we are not going to win many friends playing like that especially in front of the Sky cameras when we had a chance to show how good we can be.
I will watch us come what may regardless of how we play and just want us to win and pick up points and perform at the highest level possible. That said I am also aware that if we are to grow our fan base then we have to be more attractive than that. Maybe that's an overreaction and once we get everybody fit perhaps we can be more of an attacking force, I certainly hope so, but Jimmy and Dino need to start working on us offensively over the next few weeks and months if we are going to continue to progress.
Good to get a couple of the new boys on plus a couple of the injured ones returning although not sure what has happened to Ryan Leak who for me has been the best player this season.
Let's see what Saturday brings.

The worrying thing is that if we had gone 1-0 down at any point in tonight's game it would've been game over. It's one thing not looking like scoring but it's almost as if we're more focused on defending than actually trying to score.

Let’s be honest. We stole a point there. Should have lost 3 or 4 nil, so we should be delighted. Work to be done, looked flat tonight with no pace.
Fair play to the 199 that went up.

Tonight confirmed that Blake Tracy shouldn't be near our starting XI
Only on for 5 minutes but was absolutely brain dead and so lucky to not give a penalty away

I'm not particularly defending Blake-Tracey, as he gave to ref a decision to make by putting two hands on the players back, but I'm not sure from what I saw that there was sufficient a shove to make the player fall over like that. Not sure he was getting to it anyway as the ball looked like it was going over his head. Far from the absolute nailed on penalty that is being reported and I can see why the ref didn't give it. It was a foolish thing to do though. Not sure about his overall ability as I've not seen him enough yet. Might get a game Saturday although CBJ could go to left back I guess.

All about angles for me. From the camera behind Blake-Tracey it looks bad. From the one facing the goal it looks reasonably innocuous and that Delfounso goes over much too easily. For the disallowed goal Doyle was offside and I felt impeded Garrett’s opportunity to make the save. The Sky pundits had strong views which probably influenced many.

I do think we need to be careful because eventually a side will take these numerous chances and give us an absolute battering.
I know we've had an injury crisis, but as players start to come back into the side, we need to start playing more offensively, especially in the home games.

Good point. I'm very much in the "Don't care how we get them" category. Third in the league. It's a pretty good start.
There's a few essential players to come into the squad that'll help us in the areas we're weak. Mainly Jebbison.
Fingers crossed for the next game.

Yes it was crap to watch us play last night, not s very good avert to come watch us. That said, we could have gone top with a win I don't know if they knew that or bothered. Bolton as a club still with outstanding creditors to settle up they shouldn't even be in the league, I just wanted us not to let them take more than a point. So job well done in the end. Moan over and on to Saturday.

I think Bolton are a good side under Ian Evatt, more so than we have given credit for. I guess Jimmy knew they would come at us and we’d be under the cosh with what we have available. They are 10 times our size and to come away from there with a point is still a good result.

A hard earned point at Bolton we’d all take I guess. I have to say the back 4 and keeper were absolutely brilliant. The effort and organisation all across the park was there. We look at the table, as we always do after a game and all is fine.
It’s early days of course and the team will change but hopefully the playing style. It has to surely?
Tonight for me was just not football the way I see it. To just set up not to lose a game, get behind the ball, stifle the opposition’s strengths at the expense of playing to ours. No. It’s not for me. We can do better. Or were Bolton just that good?
We didn’t create a chance. We didn’t create any attacking play in their third. We bypass the midfield or don’t play through the lines is the modern phrase I believe. We got into attacking throw in situations 8 times but may as well just have rolled it back to their keeper.
Still looking forward to Saturday and hopefully this evening will be forgotten …………….maybe.

Surely Jimmy can see that? Not good enough. Wow. The lad gets thrown on for the last five minutes when we are under the cosh and defending for our lives to get a point. One slightly dodgy moment, which may or may not have been a penalty, and you two have decided that he is nowhere near good enough. Personally I prefer to make my judgments over a longer period ie a full 90 minutes which he got in the MK Dons game last week and played ok. Frazer appears to be back-up at the moment but I am certainly not writing off his career based on a five minute sub appearance.

Very much agree cbh1. I've seen 8 games this season, not sure he (BT) played in any of them. Give the lad a chance!
