Don't really understand all the upset. Realistically what did people expect?
Back in early March I paid for a hotel room in advance for a conference. The event was cancelled and the hotel refused a refund as they are "holding my room" for when it is rearranged. This is never going to happen and, if it ever does, I will not need to stay overnight. It was a specific set of circumstances that will not occur again.
I had two flights booked to Turkey at the end of March. The airline cancelled the flights and promised a refund. Still waiting.
As far as I am concerned, I have got off quite lightly during this crisis and I never once envisaged getting season ticket money back in any form whatsoever. The communication from the club was clear, though obviously too clear for some. especially the Facebook crew. Do people want the football club to survive or not?

I was never interested in a refund - that money's gone.
I've had a season ticket since the Conference days so I don't want to lose my 'pay-what-you-paid-last-season' deal.
But £301 to stand - or not..... I do like the idea of looking at as a donation - very loyal - but I'd rather donate £301 to my daughter at University.
One post on here says 'no one in their right mind would get a season ticket' - that's the way I feel, even though I want one. It's a lot of money.
One thing that might swing it for me is the offer of 'season tickets first' if a limited number fans are let in. I'm not bothered about iFollow.
Like someone else said, I'll wait until 14th August to see what's happening to get one.

Interesting proposition that sinfin....500 season ticket holders first (how many do we have?) might manage the required social distancing OK (in a ground that holds 7000) but the Club couldn't survive on the season ticket income alone....there'd have to be £ support from above too (the Premiership) if some restricted capacity operated on whatever terms.. Perhaps when we're all used to wearing face masks for travelling and shopping, come August/September, they'll let us all into the footie with masks on....after a temperature check at the gate... The chanting/singing/shouting would be weirdly muffled wouldn't it? There's a few moaners I wouldn't mind being muffled tho... ....perhaps should've said face coverings....not masks....Brewers scarves wrapped round your chin could do it... do you think?

Re: masks I see some clubs are selling face masks with club logos on. The club could raise some much needed income if they sold Brewers face masks especially now it’s going to be mandatory to wear one, unless something changes before the 24th? Just a thought.

I wonder if Burton know that football-masks.com are selling Burton ones on their site.

It sounds like quite a few season ticket holders would be willing to let the club keep the money anyway it appears most of them are annoyed about how long the club took to say anything.

Perhaps the club could have phrased it differently but frankly not bothered either way. It acknowledges the general situation and the precarious state of the clubs finances, not sure what else we could expect. Not fussed about a refund and will buy a new ticket before the deadline if it helps the club (I accept I am not in my right mind, no change there). If I miss a few matches that has always been the case. I am retired so perhaps on not as tight a budget as some and accept circumstances will dictate what they can do.

Just renewed... but at first I was confused. Going to the ticketing site via the BAFC website, takes you to this address. ba2.glitnirticketing.com/baticket/web/ev_list.phpThe usual "Renew my plans" section didn't show up. That's where I've normally renewed. So I went back and re-read the email and got it sorted. The link in the email takes you to ba6.glitnirticketing.com/baticket2020/web/login.phpHere Renew my Plans is back... (although as I'd already ordered it - it now shows "No orders found"). It seems the little addition of "2020" makes all the difference. It looks like they are moving to an updated site (as my old orders don't show up on the baticket2020 site, just this years season ticket) so maybe the BAFC website needs updating.

I renewed my season ticket this morning. I was pleased to do so because they need our financial help and support more than ever. The club along with most others finds itself without almost any income, whilst still having overheads to meet. This has been caused by events completely out of their control. Obviously in practical terms season ticket holders are entitled to refunds for games not played but paid for. We all understand that. However, if you care about the club, want our well run club to survive, I suggest you take the refund losses on the chin, and get out to financially support, and feel happy you helping this club come through this catastrophe.

Now offering a pro rata refund for 2020/21 season only for any match which season ticket holders are prevented from attending by imposed conditions. Makes early bird offer a lot more attractive- but I'd bought mine anyway.

Where did you get this info? Had an email from the club. That figures then why I don't know. Spoke to the club about not receiving emails and my season ticket info around 10 days ago. They didn't know why I don't get them but then sent the email to me. Still again not getting info, another phone call I guess.

Yes I’ve just renewed mine.
This will sound harsh but no sense of charity from me, or helping the cause, I just want my ticket booked and secured before I go away.
Let’s be frank my few hundred quid is small fry compared with income from sponsors, TV, EFL etc etc.
Really looking forward to it and getting 100% behind Bucko and the team.

Seems like the ticketing system doesn't like Virgin Media (NTL) emails, they've had a few with those ring saying they haven't had the email. Well that's what I've been told, I've now logged a different email address with them on the system. Now had the latest update, looking good, thanks Ben.

I wonder if this has been thought of?
Orginally we were told it would be possible to view any matches on iFollow if we can't get in the stadium for a match, for season ticket holders.
What about that situation now, I'd be happy just watching it that way if fans aren't allowed in for a few matches.
It could be offered up as an option rather than a pro rata refund.
