As stated on another thread, I went to Hereford to see the Brewers win 3-2, with two 90+ minute goals.
But the pie I bought in the ground? Not one smidgen of meat anywhere to be seen. A pie simply containing gristle. Ooh, you dirty b*stards.

Walsall away when the bogs had flooded. And they're next to the away food hatch. Standing in piss to order food. Disgraceful (because it hadn't only just happened).

Don't eat at grounds but this season at Oldham i did because it was bitterly cold so i decided to have a cheese and onion pie and a cup of coffee. The coffee was like hot fairy liquid with a granule of coffee and the pie had been thrown at a wall and was a tasteless heap of stodge.Bloody awful.

Boston was definately the pits, god dam awful. We had burgers, we had to chuck them away inedible. The toilets were the most horrid things I'd been in in my life and we got spat on actually getting to them. Couldn't wait to get the game over and out of there.

Mansfield on New Years Day six years ago. Ran out of food and hot drinks about 20 minutes into the first half and it was baltic.
Considering we're half an hour down the A38 and it was a Bank Holiday I'm positive it wasn't an accident that they ran out. Any decent club would have been well prepared.

I'm in agreement with Emnez. I don't eat or drink at the grounds anymore, not even our own. Pirelli is surrounded by various eateries and pubs all serving up far better fare for far less money.

The coffee was like hot fairy liquid with a granule of coffee. How could I forget to raise the subject of hot drinks, which my good friend Mr Emnez wisely references. Coffee is always really bad.

We always had faggots, chips and mushy peas without fail at Eton park. A few in the tavern pre and few in the ground bar for afters and a chat with the players. That all changed of course when we moved grounds. First the food wasn't the same, then the beer kept increasing in price. Started going to the SSC a few seasons ago, beer and price👍😁

Agreed Colston, not on culinary grounds but just a bad away day experience that one. I remember there was no Championship that day and we were the headline game on the highlights show but we were soundly beaten by a very strong team — Bradshaw and Sawyers in particular have both gone on to bigger things and I recall an eastern European winger being decent too. The flood of p*ss with those strangely-positioned toilets, not good.

If we're going to include them , I recall the toilets at Chesterfield's Saltergate - no roof and peeing into a piece of gutter with the rain pouring down on my head. That was the game we lost 5-2. Still, I walked out of there with a massive grin on my face. We were in League Two, seven goals and a time-machine trip back to a 1940's bog. You can keep your Emirates stadium - gimme proper football any day. With a roof on the karzy though.

The narrow steps down were above a food kiosk. Grabbed a bar overhead and got a handful of 100-year-old grease. That might be a slight exaggeration, the actual age of the grease but... you get the picture. Might have told that story before

Plastic beakers and limited beer selection👎
Glasses and proper beer👍
The grubs not bad at the Pirelli, I have sampled it the odd time. Missus always does me a full English mid morning on a match day, don't need anything else😉 just beer.
