I thought when we played them away in early October they were one of the worst teams we'd encountered.... But in last three games they've had good wins over the Gas and Pompey and picked up a point at Coventry.... They must've improved...

Most important game of the season for us. Win, and firmly in the playoffs hunt and only 5 points off the top of the league. This can only be a positive for us in any contract and transfer activities this month. Excited about it already - COYB

They have had a change of manager since we played them back in October. Paul Tisdale didnโt last too much longer and now Russell Martin is in charge there and overseen a bit of an upturn in results.
Could be a tricky little game as we have often seen against some of the lower ranked teams battling for everything to stay up but we should take confidence from our recent run of decent form.

There are no gimmes in football; otherwise we should have beaten Northampton. Good luck to them against Derby! We have won four of our last five league games (for 12 against 6 )so should have a good chance against MK Dons. It was good to be the team that kept going and scored a late winner v Fleetwood. It turned one point into three. Onwards and upwards. COYB

Shame i could not have this joy of being on a high all week, Joey Barton and his squad having a team meeting lasting a hour in the dressing room after the game. Such was the importance of the game. i cant get to the game on Tuesday but lucky me can watch it on ifollow. We have the transfer window and M_K Dons visiting us on Tuesday a home win [ on paper ] M_K Stadium holds 30-500 fans average attendance 9-276 whilst struggling in league 1, 3 times our gate and their team costs a lot more than ours. Since our last meeting the club has much improved under Manager Rusell Martin They sit 19th in the league table, and Coventry Manager had this to say. They have good players, great legs in the middle of the park they made the game very difficult and i was glad we did not lose. Boateng=Mason=Agard== and they have a excellent youth development scheme, and In Morris on loan from Norwich they have a powerful striker. Not expecting a big gate meaning over 3 thousand, will Nigel play fresh legs, any one thinking walk over forget it. Will take a draw 4 points from 2 games

Glad you're not doing the team talk pre match Trev, we want a win here.๐
Yes we need to take care of business, no silly mistakes, carry on from Saturday but let's have us scoring earlier. I'll take a last min goal though and clean sheet any day.๐

Despite what some people are posting, our target is and always has been top 6 this season.
Whether we make it or not is a different question.
None of this point off 12th stuff. Our manager believes we're good enough and doesn't say things like that lightly.
We're in amongst it.
Ryan's goal Saturday was massive. Totally changed the mood after Northampton.
Tuesday doesn't have to be a big win. It doesn't have to be an easy win. How great would it be to wake up Wednesday seeing us in 5th?

Probably playing these at the wrong time but they probably think that about us as weโve won 4 of our 5 previous league games, MK Dons have however only picked up 6 points away from home all season.
Feeling confident after the late winner the other day and think weโll snatch this one 2-1 but we seem to make a mess of things when we have a chance of getting into a good position so hopefully we can do things right this time.

As big as the Fleetwood game was this is even bigger. No game in this league is easy but if we show the same fighting spirit as Saturday we have every chance of getting the 3 pts tomorrow and setting us up for a play off push. Itโs all down to the players . An exciting 2nd half of the season is in store folks .

It's looking stormy for this tomorrow evening, heavy rain and up to 50mph winds.๐

It's looking stormy for this tomorrow evening, heavy rain and up to 50mph winds.๐ It'll probably impact a fair bit on attendance.... Just hope it doesn't affect the game too much.... especially the result... The forecast I've looked at says the wind should have subsided from its peak before ko. Hope its correct...

the official site has the game tonight down as one where you can buy the video feed for ยฃ10 and watch online, so I'll be doing that (I don't live in Burton anymore so can't get to midweek matches)

excellent backs to the wall performance tonight and a great result. properly in form team in the division now
10 days break will be good for us, clearly a few knackered players out there, I bet they are looking forward to a few days off!
fingers crossed we get to the next game with no outgoing players and one or two more coming in

and.....
just realised we are only 5 points off top of the league! crazy how close this division is at the moment
we owe Accrington a beating, Wimbledon are struggling. looking forward to the Rotherham game which could be a top of the table clash!

Unbelievable defensive effort tonight against a really good MK side who played us off the park more than any team has since we have been back in League One. To put it in perspective they had 73% possession tonight which is only 1% less than Man City had in the 9-0 game! Clearly didn't have anybody with the finishing ability they did but there were some real nervy moments tonight and whilst we defended heroically they still seemed to work it round us too many times for comfort.
Table looks good tonight and we are there on merit for definite and I hope this has a positive effect on the January transfer dealings both in and out.
Great three points and well done all round!!

MK must be on there way back now thinking how did we lose that๐
I can't watch many games like that and glad we got that early goal. We were knackered near the end , nothing left to give.
We need the next 10 days to regroup, hopefully with the same group + not -๐
