One match doesn't maketh a season. I concur. Anyone who saw Scott Fraser pre season v Villa (I think) would have thought we had got a guy who could not run, pass, shoot, or quote pi to 48 decimals places. Fortunately that was not the case. Though why needs such an accurate calculation of the constant defined as the ratio between the circumference and the diameter of a circle is anyone’s guess.

They play with a ball.

Shucks only some one from ilson write that. i think he feels we lose to many good players to clubs in our own league, for free, seems we have another club in the mix.And another experienced manager in Grayson, joining dare i say it,a stable Blackpool.

Hope Akpan was legendary in pre season against Leicester 😁 I think Hope was a more than decent player. Apart from his occasional over aggressive lunges. I think it was OUR mistake not to have played him more and was disappointed when he left. Not sure how he's done at Bradford but for me it's another one of those players who thought he was off to greener grass only for it not to quite work our that way.

Again a player with promise Akpan seemed lost but had a big impact later on in the season.moved on to a bigger club with a higher profile and the money would be better. Green grass is every where and many a career is lost so hence the saying, small fish in big pond, and big fish in small pond.rash decisions can come back to bite. Moving sideways for extra money could be a slippery slope, Patience and hard work can bring high rewards and bring moving onto the next level, could bring a permanent. and justified upturn in a players career ,Agents perhaps see pound signs to soon. it will be interesting where Alex Bradley ends up a young lad and i wish him well

I went to watch the Brewers play at Kidsgrove Athletic pre-season a couple of years ago and Stephen Warnock looked absolute class, Matty Lund was ghosting in to the box and getting on the end of moves and Liam Boyce looked like a complete carthorse.

So what you're saying is, pre season is a key form indicator? 😁

Is a stable Blackpool where they keep the donkeys? Agree, Blackpool do seem to have got their act together now, maybe this season they'll tower above everyone else in the league?
