The daft thing is Boyce is probably a better player than almost all of them.

Now 9 off playoffs and 7 from relegation Movement in wrong direction 2 more wins from somewhere should see us safe... Thinking 50 points might not be enough this season...

Donny with a couple of home games before we play again so hopefully they will continue to slip up. Posh don't play next week and Coventry are at Barnsley so hopefully by the time we play again we will still be in touch.
Either way our two wins and others stuttering has given us a sniff.
Last game of the season away to Posh. Now just imagine if we were two points behind them in seventh going into that one!!

How good are Accrington, and we had 2 penalties.and Macfadzene became a dead ball expert. funny game yes time will tell, will Accrington avoid the drop. Will we finish the season on a flourish. Top six to play.could be a exciting end to the season, not to finish top 6 ,but to end on a high

With us on an upward trajectory and them having lost the previous three games......ooooh don't.

We have Barnsley, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Luton, Peterborough, 5 of the top 6 to come haha.
It's rather unlikely!

And we weren't far off at Preston - they only won cos we were camped in their half in the last five minutes.

Unlikely but exciting stuff to still be in with a shout. Some on here and Facebook will be quiet if we did. Until we lose in the playoffs of course...

I'm a realist. I know we won't make the play-offs.
But last season, at this point, I'd have said "staying up? yeah right...." and we nearly made it.
Captain Sensible very sensibly sang "you've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?"
It's Burton Albion. It's Nigel. Expect the unexpected.
Of course when we lose the next two, I'll look a bit foolish...
Dream on, Brewers.

I can see it now Sunderland, Portsmouth,Charlton and Burton Albion in the play offs and we beat Sunderland on pens in the final to become the star of the show on their second series of the their fly on the wall Netflix show.

Who would have thought though a few weeks ago we would still be I with a shout and something to play for. I think its great. We have to play the top teams but that makes it all the more exciting with a packed away end at the Pirelli (Luton, Pompey & probably Barnsley will sell out).

I think given the fixtures we have left, if we end up getting into the play-offs, then surely we would have to be favourites?

Donny could be 10 clear of us come Saturday as they have Walsall at home so it's starting to look less and less likely we will get in.
Still, not to worry, we have some great games left to play with lots riding on it for our opponents and I for one wouldn't want to play us needing a victory for promotion or to stay up!

I was talking to a Barnsley fan the other day who was hoping we wouldn’t spoil their party. I quite like the idea of finishing on a high, dashing a few dreams for other teams and leaving us with momentum for next season. Mid-table mediocrity has a lot going for it. Game on.
